It's a patch that the real deal badass biker mofos wear, which I think is a tribute to a quote from a news story in the 40s out of California, saying something that 99% of motorcycle enthusiasts are law-abiding. I just read that Curry has made it be known that he would happily take less than the $30 mil guaranteed that Long got last year (as the #1 draft pick). Hopefully, someone on the Lions heard that.
