Thank you all for reading and laughing. I'm glad I could give a group of people with exceptionally good taste in music a chuckle.

Did you go to Catholic school? You get some good grammar in them schools. (I should know, I went to Catholic school with GleN "One N" Rockwell.)

    Wilco Cartoon

Thank you, but I have no artistic or technical ability. I'm just the idea woman. If someone has that skill and runs with it, I say go for it!
  6. Okay -- in my defense, this came to me when I was stuck in traffic for 5 hours driving from NJ to MA last summer to see Wilco by myself. After buying the cartoon-Wilco t-shirt the night before, I just got to thinking on this long, lonely ride of what the Wilco Scooby-Doo style cartoon would be like. So, I just started with who would be who, according to cartoon stereo types based on looks. So here's what I got: Nels-- since he's the oldest, he'd be the smart, rational one in charge -- sort of the Fred, if you will. Often rolling his eyes at the antics of Glen and pat (see below). John -- h
  7. [Dude, it's that work's we'll have YOUR favorite cake at the joint birthday party.
  8. I've met Jeff 4 times. Each time, I come off like a babbeling idiot. #2 was before a show in NJ -- he was in his running shorts and t shirt. I asked him to sign my Down with Wilco CD (already signed by Scott McCaughey and Peter Buck), and Jeff said, "I'm glad you don't want a picture, cos I don't like my pictue taken in my shorts." (I don't know why, he's got nice calves.) I said, "Yeah, you look pretty skanky." He walked away in a mock huff saying, "Well, I was going to sign something." But he came back. #3 was in Ohio -- and I thought he white nudie suit was adorned with hummingbirds (I ha
  9. Well, I think no one can touch him. That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it. I don't downplay the role of the guys in the band -- they are amazing. I get chills during the instrumentals -- and it's not just Jeff up there. But, for me, his words move me more than a guitar solo. Evidence is how well his stongs stand when it's six guys wailing away, or just one guy with a guitar. And, I bet Jeff and I would disagree on many things. Like his aversion to razors for one. If I shaved as infrequently as him, I'd look like Big Foot and no man would want me. Second, I can't stand Diet Coke -- fr
  10. [Yeah -- what he said. I think SBS is amazing and just because there's no "noise" or avange-garde vibe, does not make it any less beautiful. To me, Wilco's all about Jeff's lyrics -- this musical sound scape is just the icing on a very delicious cake. He's still the best lyricist around -- no one can touch him. I love Yankee and Ghost, but can honestly say that righ now, Sky Blue Sky is may favorite -- it just makes me happy. He's not slacking, he's growing. So there.
  11. There was a whole crew at the Pines Theatre Show last year in MA -- but I guess nothing ever came of it since it was a year ago. Great show, I was right in the front row. So, not sure I'd want family and friends seeing me in thr front row at a Wilco concert. I get a little crazed.
  12. I caugt (happen to really like Psych, and am a loser with no plans on a Friday night.) It was a thrill. I'm kind of new to this site, so I was not around when that guy from How I Met Your Mother used Wilco as a lure to get a 3-way. I was so proud. uote name='zebra' date='Feb 16 2008, 02:36 AM' post='1060459'] I was in the kitchen eating pie when I heard "Outtasite (Outta Mind)" on the television show "Psych" on the USA Network. I ran in there to see what was going on and they played almost the whole song (if not the whole thing). At first, I didn't get why they were playing the song,
  13. I;m a newbie, I've only been a fan for about 2 years. So: Tweedy: 1 Kotchee/Cline: 1 Wilco: 5 -- soon to be seven. Down with Wilco -- you are referring to my dream concert -Tweedy, Kotchee, Stirrat, Buck and McCaughey? I'd crawl acrss glass to see Jeff Tweedy and Peter Buck on the same stage.
  14. Nice to see that JHeff shaved. Getting pretty for the grammys?
  15. I'm trying to delete this message, but have not idea how (no very technically savy), but this ticket is gone. I've an extra ticket for row EEE in the pitt for the 2/23 show in Philly. But you have to be willing to be next to a very rapid fan who will dance her tuckus offf and shout JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEFFFFFFFFF [/[/size]size] for most of the show. bkmmorr@yahoo.com
