  1. This was hard. Here's my selection, with the reasons why: 1 I am trying to break your heart: Love the lyrics, love the mood, love the crazy-sounding piano 2 Outtasite: Makes me happy -- great way to motivate me driving to work on a Monday morning 3 Either Way: Makes me happy, my rainy morning, sipping coffee on my balcony song 4 Hummingbird:Just a sweet song about unrequited love. Story of my life 5 Company in my back: Love it when he sings, I will alwyas die, I will alswys die, I will always die so you can remember ME -e-e 6. Spiders (live): Killer -- makes my heart bond and bloo
  2. So, is Glenn related to Ed Koch? And I never pegged Pat as Italian.
  3. How about Far Far Away, nice words and you can slow dance to it.
  4. Sorry -- just needed to vent.
  5. Suprisingly, I have not. But. Wilco's often been the subject of my status.
  6. Okay -- it's happened to us all. You having a great time at the show, then someone or a group of somones kind of spoil it. And it usually comes down to a lack of respect for those around you. Most Wilco fan are nice and respectful of others' concert experiences -- but there may be a bad apple in the mix. So, if you want to sit and cotemplate to music, or shake your thang, here are some suggestions I have to ensure that all people can have a great time. As Jeff said, "It's not just you. You're part of a group of people in a really beautiful way. It's wonderful." Let's keep it wonderful, folks
  7. Well, if you look at what they are playing on thier ipods (Michal jackson, Ken Chesney, Beyonce) it's no wonder they haven't heard of Wilco.
  8. Just saw this on REM site: "An all-star cast, including Michael Stipe, has contributed songs to Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy, a compilation of the Miracle Legion front man's songs which serves simultaneously as a tribute to the songwriter (whose wife Melissa passed away recently, leaving him with three-year old twins) and a benefit. Ciao My Shining Star - The Songs of Mark Mulcahy, will be released on September 7th in the UK and September 29th in the USA. 01. Thom Yorke - “All for the Best” 02. The National - “Ashamed of the Story I Told” 03. Michael Stipe - “Everythi

One more thing -- who feels kind of bad for Sam? Seems like his older brother kind of over shadows him. Time for give the love to Sammy. Older siblings suck -- I know, I got 6.

I wish my dad was a cool at JT -- I love my dad, don't get me wrong, he's the best dad in the world -- but he was more of a TURN THAT CRAP DOWN dad than a rock out with his daughter dad. Although now in his 70's, I think he's ready to rock. I find it funny that there are descriptipns of what the boys are wearing in the photos: "On Tweedy Dries Van Noten jacket, Levi's jeans, Ray-ban sunglasses." I know it's an advertising/promotional thing -- just never thought of Jeff as a Fashion Icon, Pat -- maybe, but not Jeff.
  11. We met John, who's just so nice -- but he was it But it was fun hanging out! And your pictures are fantastic! What a skraggily, beautiful man he is!
  12. [i got home at 6:30am, slept two hours and went to Lewiston the next night. Great show as well but not like this one. 6:30! Jeez. Well - you did not miss the band. They never came out.
  13. I concur. He seemed to be his normal self to me. Silly, but with it. No loopieness

  16. Who's got the post-concert blues? I do! Hands down -- this was the best Wilco show I've seen -- they really hit it out of park (ugh -- bad pun) The venue, the music, the people -- a total trifecta. It was nice to meet Wilco Worshipper by the bus (my fellow die-hard stalker! -- I followed the bus a bit on the way home) -- as well as Laurie and Missy in the front row. Only bummer was the slighty wasted girl who clammerd her way to the front during the encore. Some people really need to learn their Geneal Admission Etiquette -- and have a bit more respect for personal space. Jeff was just
  17. I'll be there -- and have a ticket to the BBQ.
  18. Varies depending on my mood -- but mostly I am an Amerinca Aquarian Drinker and If is just yer heart talking, I don't mind . . .
  19. It was a sad, sad day when I realized that I like anything Wilco more then anything REM. I've loved REM since 84, and felt like they were part of my growing up. But, I just don't think Michael Stipe's lyrics come close to Jeff's. I am on the REM minority cos I Love Reveal and Up and New Adventures in Hi-Fi. Around the Sun did suck, but I think it was the production cos those songs live kick ass. And in 50 years when they look back at REM's catelog, they will say the Leaving New York was one of their best songs. For me, it's just go real emotion. Accelerate kicks ass. Great for the gym,.
  20. Is anyone going to that BBQ at the Duchess Stadium show? Does anyone know if the premium location is next to the stage or just good viewing, but not front row?
  21. From all your lips to God's ears. Maybe I'll se them tuesday night when my co-workers and I go see The Blue man Group
  22. So -- next week when Wilco will be in NYC, I will be there too -- but working. My company is holding an event at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square, where I will be from Sat. to Thurs. So, instead of a Wonderful Wilco Week that could have taken me from Delware to Maine, I'll be tied to my laptop in some remote, isolated room deep in the bowels of the hotel. Will I be going to Keyspan Park -- just a short drive away? No. Will I be standing outside Letterman's studio, just a hop, skip and jump away, hoping to catch a glimpse of my favoirte band? No. At some point next week, we will probabl
