I sent an e-mail. I have three tickets I'm selling for face + fees (and shipping since I'm not local). Thanks.

If you happen upon an extra for Richmond or Bethesda, please keep me in mind! edit: my e-mail is leperilloux at aol dot com Thanks!

Captain, send me your e-mail (mine is thatfarmgirl at gmail dot com). There is a small chance that someone I bought an extra ticket for won't be able to use it. No promises, but if she isn't able to make it I'll be in touch. I probably won't know until the date gets closer, though. In the meantime, if you hear of anything opening up for Strathmore, I'd appreciate it if you'd do the same!

Not true. The Lyric show was pretty great. Granted, I was asked to sit down by the person behind me (although I did warn him I'd be standing for "Hate It Here" and he was agreeable). I prefer GA shows, though.

I have tickets for both nights at The Wellmont and I'll be trying for Philadelphia tomorrow. Got shut out of Strathmore today (which is only 30 minutes from my house )...well, I was up all night with a sick dog and logged in too late for tickets.

Head, I feel your pain on the Wolf Trap show. We had seats, but we set up on the lawn so we could have dinner, etc. The chatter on the lawn was unbearable and it was nearly the same experience when we moved to our seats in the pavilion. I'm not sure what was going on there that evening, but it was a shame. The Strathmore is a lovely venue. While I've only seen a few shows there, I found audiences to be pretty respectful. Here's hoping we can all locate a ticket or two!

Wow, this is SO disappointing. So many here and elsewhere reporting they were on at 10 am and were shut out. I was up all night with a sick dog and missed the onsale completely...got on around 10:20 a.m. I guess we can hope they release more tickets as the date gets closer. I won't pay a scalper no matter how much this hurts...can't participate in the cycle.

I was up all night with a sick dog and missed the onsale for Strathmore in Bethesda this morning. I feel like someone punched me in the stomach. I'm looking for two tickets, but I'd likely be happy with one at this point. If you can help, please e-mail me at leperilloux at aol dot com Thanks.

I had the pleasure of seeing Gillian & Dave this year one day at Newport, then the following morning as DRM (btw, Dave was in the most awesome slim, cowboy-style suit), then again at Folks Fest out in CO. So excited for this release...have been listening to it since last week.

Seeking One Ticket For Dallas Palladium Show

Bump...still looking for one ticket. Thanks! -
Hi - looking for one ticket. If you can help, please e-mail me at thatfarmgirl at gmail dot com. Many thanks!

Nope...annexed by the US until statehood. I lived there for five years...until my father decided to relocate us to the swamps of Louisiana.

I was standing to the right of this woman...she was obnoxious. Good for Jeff, I remember being relieved when he did that. I caught both shows in Milwaukee in April. A guy in front of me was literally yelling over the music. I tapped him on the shoulder lightly and motioned with my hand for him to lower his voice. He had the nerve to ask "am I talking too loudly for you?" to which I replied "considering there's a band on stage and they're performing? yes, you are talking too loudly for me." Jerk. Sadly, basic, common courtesy seems to have gone the way of the wagon wheel...at concerts

Monsters of Folk (James, Oberst & Ward)

I think I paid either $5 or $7 for my first concert...The Kinks. That said, I'll likely spring for tix for Philly since they're not coming near DC. -
Washington, DC (9:30 Club) New Orleans, LA (Jazz Fest) Manchester, TN (Bonnaroo) Baltimore, MD (Lyric Opera House and Virgin Fest) New York, NY (Madison Square Garden) Milwaukee, WI (2x @ Pabst Theater) Vienna, VA (Wolf Trap) Chicago, IL (Lollapalooza) There's another one in there, but I can't remember... I'd love to do a living room show one of these days, but need someone to clue me in on how those work or if it's possible for an interloper to even dream of such things!

Have you checked out your local FSBO (For Sale By Owner)? I don't have personal experience with this, but a friend owns a franchise out in Kansas and, from what little I know, it seems to be a reputable organization with a good success rate. Best of luck to you!

It was a small, local music fest in Maryland. I heard the strains of IATTBYH and walked over to see what was going on. Stood there for a few minutes, mouth agape, before I decided to video it. Yeah...beyond weird. And hilarious!

Fantastic shots, tagvestibule. What kind of camera are you using?

Anyone catch The Moondoggies? I'm wondering how they are live (love the album).
-
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Yes, that's my vid! So bizarre.

The pork chop thing originated during their JazzFest set. Lots of folks at JF carry flags and a group had a flag that featured a "ginger moustache", which Jeff mistook for a pork chop. He mentioned it at Bonnaroo, too.
