Your post made me curious, so I looked at my profile and discovered my 16th anniversary at VC is coming up in the spring. Time flies when you're having fun.

The Decemberists are set to release a double album some time next year. That's at the top of my list right now.

I'm not a huge fan of Jason Isbell, but his live shows are excellent. Another of the young bands you should check out is Wednesday. They're my favorite musical discovery of 2023. Here's a great 30-minute documentary on the band that was released not long ago.

The Decemberists. I can't remember but I may also expressed hope for a fourth band, Sweeping Promises. Regardless I'm extremely excited about this lineup!

Wow! Wednesday and Ratboys were two of the three bands on my wishlist. This is a fantastic lineup!

I took a break from this album for a while, but it's just as beautiful as I'd remembered it.

I forgot about the Depeche Mode record. I also enjoyed that one. And Mitski's The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.

Definitely a great year for music. Depeche Mode with DIIV

It's a bit lengthy, and I'm still reading it. I've read enough to recommend it though. I'm not posting this under the Cousin reviews thread because it covers much more than the new album. Wilco: Cousins to the World
