Hey, my wife and I are in one of those pics! (Nels and his wife). From Saturday night to Sunday night, it was 24 hours with Nels Cline, including a special sound installation as part of Tourists.

I didn't go that route, but started checking every few minutes about 10 before the hour, while I was clearing work emails. It was actually a few minutes after the hour that I got through and bought what I wanted. As an older fan, I appreciate there being some options -- call it VIP if you will -- but simply opening the event to a broader range of audience, especially as the band begins to age as well. Not talking walkers, but, just as it has always been billed as a "family-friendly" event, hopefully that includes dad rockers, and, eventually granddad rockers.

The VIP and housing specials raised money for charity -- the FotF tickets for the school, if I understand correctly.

One of the bandmembers talked about them having about 100 songs back. It could have been very easy to throw a few more songs into this; it may have been a very brave decision to stick with the 11 and say, 'that's our album.' As much attention as Tweedy is known to give tracking and looking at the album as a whole, I just think that is a brilliant, cohesive album in the classic sense of vinyl.

Magnetized finishes it with a Plastic Ono Band vibe.

I'm not hearing much evidence of keyboards on this; layered guitars, a bit of synth but like listening to AGIB through a TWL filter.

Definite Loose Furs vibe but it sounds to like Sansome's hands are all over this. Kudos Wilco!

I never warmed up to The Whole Love; nothing against it. Wilco the Album seemed more novelty than anything.

Late to this conversation but they did Dreams the last time they played at Florida Theatre -- with Total Pro Horns, heavy on clarient, an amazing New Orleans tone to it.

From Setlist.fm, looks accurate. 4 Woody songs, seven from YHF, Uncle Tupelo song and cover, a huge slice of their "noisier" catalog, the pairing of Poor Places and Art of Almost was inspired (although Nels had guitar issues on the latter). Its been a while since I've seen them, but they continue to give Nels more and more room in Impossible Germany and he shreds up every square inch of space and leaves you begging for more. Was I In Your Dreams had some energy and depth beyond the norm, it's obvious the focus of this tour is to sell the box set of B sides, but Dark Neon was one of the show's

Final acoustic set was amazing. Tweedy noted that it was 21 years ago to the very night that he and Stirratt played the last show with Uncle Tupelo at Mississippi Nights, and played We've Been Had and Take Back the Keys to My Heart in honor, then closed with an acoustic version of Misunderstood. Amazing show.

I avoided the pit, those days are gone. I got presales seats all the way to one side; saw the ones front and center today and contacted Wilco's ticket vendor to see about changing. They were less than pleasant, plus their Web site is one of the most frustrating I've dealt with. They wouldn't exchange seats but was able to get a sympathetic ear with band management. I've seen them many times, but this time feels like a real downer. The tour bus is not very accessible in St. Augustine from my experiences. We ran into John last time they were there but it was on the opposite side of the stage

I think these three were working the whole front row. We were on the aisle front row the other side, and I got the same treatment, with the beating in rhythm on my shoulder blades. Her line to me was "I'm 80 percent annoying and 100 percent adorable." I asked her if she checked her math.
