I've purchased a few individual songs especially the odd Tweedy or Wilco track I didn't have and then eventually burned them to CD.

What Beatles song would you most like to see Wilco cover??

I always thought George Harrison's "What is Life" sounded like a song Wilco could do with the Total Pros. -
That was pretty damn good.

Best I can find in the few minutes that I have to try and answer your question. I know there are better articles about this but this is a quick read. The first few paragraphs attempt to answer your question. http://www.commodityonline.com/news/People-behind-the-great-global-warming-hoax-23205-3-1.html Here's another site with multiple articles which I know you won't agree with because some of them mention the desire for global governance as the main reason behind it. I don't know if that is the ultimate reason but many of these articles are interesting and provide info you won't get in

So global warming leads to an ice age? I've never been able to wrap my head around that one. It's getting cold because it is getting warm? I don't think you can have it both ways. The basis of the anti-warming group as I take it, is that there are many other factors that warm and cool the earth that are more important than the tiny fraction of the atmosphere that is made up of man-made CO2. The sun's activity has much more influence. It took me a while to start to consider both sides of this issue and many of the science teachers I work with have long stated the belief that the sun as we

I don't disagree. I was always one who thought global warming was a result of pollution, CO2, etc. but from what I've been reading the past year or so has me wondering if it is nothing but a scam to tax us to death. Heck, they have even dropped the name Global Warming and replaced it with Climate Change because the earth has not been warming the past 10 years but cooling. This video explains it nicely I think. There have also been a few stories about the emails sent between the leading global warming scientists that have been hacked which exposed the fact that they knew all along that the

To answer the question posed at the beginning of the thread, I have a playlist of every Tweedy song from UT,GS,7WC, etc. and from that list of dozens of songs, I put together individual CD mixes of what I am in the mood to listen to.

10 Best Albums Resulting from Uncle Tupelo Breakup
Sparky speaks replied to choo-choo-charlie's topic in Just A Fan
5. Being There: Wilco [sire, 1995] For a certain segment of the Wilco fan base, this album would be sitting at the top position. Being There stands as Jeff Tweedy’s penultimate statement in the field of alt-country. The expansive double album meanders through American roots music, touching on bluegrass, country, and early rock 'n' roll before settling in and signing off with the epic “Dreamer in My Dreams.” I am one of those "certain segments" of the fan base. -

Red Eyed And Blue and I've Got You, two of the best Wilco songs back to back no less.

I remember when Soupy told all the kids in the audience to go into their parents pocketbooks and wallets and take out that green paper and send it to him. He was suspended for a few weeks for that. I remember the song "Happy Days Are Here Again" on the commercials on channel 5 out of NY when he came back.

More than likely the MFYs will win at least once in the next four years. The Steinbrenner curse. Since he was convicted of illegal donations to Richard Nixon in the early 70's the MFYs only win the World Series when a Democrat is in the White House. Check the years they won and you will see it is true.

Essential vinyl purchases? I made them between 1964 and 1987 and they are all in boxes in my garage.

Since we are now speculating, here is a post I made on the Wilco Breaking Up? thread where this article was originally posted.... At that January session, Jeff will have a camera crew there to film the rehearsals for a documentary that will result in a concert in some unique place like on a boat or in the deserts of North Africa. However he will be accused of being too pushy by the other band members who will balk at the concert. Pat will walk out for a few days but after a meeting they will agree to finish the project and he comes back. Leroy is invited to sit in for a few of the songs easi
