I suppose you have to know that there is at least one other person around here that posts this sort of thing. So, it's all been seen before. No surprise there - as most stuff gets posted over and over again.
I don't have a problem with this sort of thing, it's like ghosts or The Bermuda Triangle, there is something there, somewhere. The problem though, is the source. When I looked the guy up, I found this: So - I have a hard time with what he wants me to watch after reading that.
I don't agree with everything Jones has said or done over the years.......It's just this stuff makes sense.......I used his film as starting point......I cringe at the bullhorn stuff he puts in his films.......But when one looks at the problems in the world through this prism there seems to be some answers there for what other-wise makes no sense......Why do government leaders always make the decisions they make that we all know are just the opposite of what needs to be done?......It is never in our interests........Take the bailout.......Give the very banks and investment houses that brought on this mess the trillions that they hope will trickle down to the rest of us......Obama is surrounded by these guys......Nothing is going to change IMO and I hoped that he would bring in some outsiders.......He brought in only more insiders.....More than the war criminal Bush and his pal Cheney brought in......Like anyone I pick and choose what I read or believe in......I think Jones does a good job of bringing it together in this instance.....Just trying to get some constructive debate going but it is hard to do that here with all the sophomoric and abusive comments by some........But I teach so I am used to immaturity and can deal with it......

The Europeans don't seem so upset with the EU. In fact, they seem pretty healthy. What are you proposing, a new American Revolution?
I have taught many students from Europe who claim most of the people there are opposed to the idea of a European Union......They have lost control of their currencies and are faced with economic collapse as we are.......These decisions as well as many political ones are made at secret meetings by the bankers and government leaders without input from the people.......Why do you think those massive protests take place whenever they are held?.....Are you aware of the violent riots breaking out all over Europe the past few months....They don't seem too happy to me.........I'm not calling for a revolution.......I'm asking people to wake up what to what is going on while they spend their time watching their 700 channels of HDTV and play their video games and listen to their ipods and spend hours texting each other about where the next party is......They (elite) are getting away with fraud, theft, and a power grab that most are missing.......You don't have to accept what I am saying but some of you don't have to be be so abusive verbally......If you are so liberal, you would listen to what others might have to say without the negative personal attacks.......I have not responded in kind because I don't want to stoop to that level......I have to go now and take some Tylenol for my paranoid fever dream (which I am sure will result in another abusive comment)........Even if 50% of what is in that video is true we are screwed if we continue to let them get away with it........It is already happening my friend.......

It is not a matter of liberal/conservative........I am a liberal, or progressive if you will, on most social and economic matters......Would you like to loose your nation's sovereignty to a regional government like the European Union or the proposed North American Union which will make decisions for you without your input (voting) that will supersede national laws (the Constitution)?.......What do you think the G-20 is all about or NAFTA, the Amero or the proposed World Bank......Whoever controls the money controls the power........The notion of liberal versus conservative is a parlor game to distract your attention while the power elites rob you of the little wealth you have left and your civil liberties......Did you ever hear of manufactured dissent? The media is controlled by the very people (corporate) who are helping to establish this domination.....They don't care about you or me.....They want power.......Democrat/Republican, liberal/conservative, it makes no difference.......It is created to give the appearance of dissent......The dissent is only allowed to go to a certain limit, then those who push it or challenge beyond the set limit are labeled nuts or conspiracy theorists.....Look how they excluded Ron Paul from the Republican debates last year despite the fact he was getting more votes than some of the so-called leading contenders in the primaries(If you listened to what he said he was the only Rep. to make any sense)He was considered dangerous by the power elite so they stifled his access to the media ......They are all controlled by the same money interests.....Everyone is making a big deal over Jim Creamer. He works for General Electric one of the most powerful corporations on the planet which owns CNBC/MSNBC/NBC.....What would you expect him to say on his show? If he challenged Wall Street on his show as Stewart suggests he wouldn't have the show........You are all not that naive are you?

Being There........disc one.......The single best collection of Wilco songs on one disc......Just took AM out of the car player yesterday........Probably putting SBS in next........AGIB has been played once with a lot of skipping past the noise.......Summerteeth and YHF have not been played in about a year........Kicking Television gets a fair amount of play when I want to hear AGIB songs.......I usually listen to Wilco and Tweedy songs obtained from Owl and Bear rather than the studio albums to be truthful......I put together a mix of Tweedy with UT, GS, LF and solo that I listen to a lot as well......

Yeah, I hope they do it in stereo and on Eight Track......Folks, when I was much younger I didn't worry about what the next Beatles album was going to sound like......Obviously things turned out okay........Like I said before, don't worry.......It's Wilco.......Don't you trust them to put out a good product? Do you think they really want to release a piece of shit?........Take what comes and enjoy it........In a few years it will be one of their classics that people here will wish they would repeat on their next album.....

Yes it (the movie)would exist whoever was in office and that is the point.....I don't see it all as fear mongering.....I look past that....Stylistically, there is a lot about the movie I dislike. Take Jones' voice for one..... I particularly think the best parts of the movie are when the connections are made between the power elite and those in political power despite their party affiliation........They all have been controlled by them or they would not be in power today.......Do you think Obama just popped up out of nowhere? Do you honestly think they (elite) would have backed him if he was a threat to the staus-quo? Why would Kissinger, Zbig, Rockefeller et. al. be so supportive of him if he was out to change the world as so many (the common folk) would like him to?.......If he steps out of line he will be taken down by some scandal or some other means......I'm not an isolationist or an America Firster either.....Like I said before, I voted for Obama.......I feel he has not picked the right people to advise him......He had no choice however....Can you agree with that?......sorry for the ellipses......It's an old habit......Thanks for the response and taking the time to actually read what is being posted.....
