He always says that though. What did he say during the SBS release era about previous albums, how if a song uses pedals or the studio it's 'not really a song'? I know other examples but they aren't coming to mind. He's always ready to cut past ties and go into something new, which is a good thing in a musician.

I wish they would do more three- or four-piece shows. Very good sound.

AGIB is my favorite Wilco album, and trumps Loose Fur's s/t, which is still very good. If only Loose Fur were a bit longer (it could have had Millionaire and Street Success!).

Yes. And I really really want a new Loose Fur record. Jim and Jeff are a great writing team and should be more prolific.

I would rather Nels wasn't in the band because I like Jeff's guitar playing a lot more, and I don't care for the stuff he adds to the old songs live. My favorite live line-up was the stripped down four piece just after Jay left the band. QFT. SBS is a good album, but I wouldn't want another one in its style. But I'm not too worried that will happen.
