That video really is spectacular. All throughout prince's solo, you can just tell that he is in a zone far beyond the capabilities of any normal musician. The way he hangs back, then explodes, is really incredible to watch.

Prince is a complete badass. He just is. Call it showboating if you want, but no one uses that argument to diss guys like Hendrix. And Prince should be put right up there with guys like Hendrix. 'Nuff said.

It shouldn't surprise people that Prince can play a guitar with the very best of them. Because frankly, he might be the very best of them. Is he full of himself? Sure. But the man is easily among the very best musicians out there.

I've always thought it's check it and dependent claims. It makes the most sense that way. Especially the dependent claims line. If it is somehow anything but dependent claims, I'll be disappointed, because I love that line.

I love the lyrics of this song, but I always just viewed it as a "Christ would be just a regular guy" kind of thing. It's a witty little song, but I don't think it's meant to be a biting political criticism.

He really does have a way with music. There are countless examples of this, but he really knows what type of music to play, and he always chooses good, obscure songs, even if it's a Stones or Beatles song. However, the use of Needle in the Hay during Richie's suicide attempt is his best musical moment. Brilliant choice.

I buy a large amount of music, and have large stacks of CDs and records in my house, but I download stuff for free if I'm unfamiliar with it. I'm 100% OK with this. I do, however, look down on people who download entire discographies in one fell swoop, and never actually buy music. This is the collector in me, but that's really no fun at all.

Oh yeah, it was hilarious, but it was more interesting than anything else. At least, I thought so. After all that Fox had said about his "wild nature," the wolf scene was pretty compelling. At first I didn't know what was going on, since Fox had said he had a phobia of wolves. But then he seemed to be in awe of the wolf, and it kinda made sense. Very neat scene. I really want to see this again, actually. Wes' movies all have so many little tidbits that you don't catch the first time, and this one seems like no exception.

Rushmore is incredible, but Tenenbaums wins for me. Please tell me you consider it number two?

Dude, no. The Royal Tenenbaums is his best movie, period. I really like them all, and I look forward to watching Fox again, but Tenenbaums cannot be beat. Such a well-written film. Own Wilson really needs to go back to writing. The man is brilliant. One of my favorite scenes in this movie, which i just remembered, was when Fox saw the wolf during the getaway at the end. The wolf thing was always passed off by Fox throughout the movie, then that scene happened, and it was a pretty powerful look at Fox's persona. The animation style was brilliant, and a good break from the flurry of "fancy" animated flicks that aren't really anything more. The voice acting was spot-on. I never really think about Clooney too much, but he owned that character. There weren't really any bad voices, but man, Fox was believable as the self-centered prick he was. Great movie. I really enjoyed how Wes skirted profanity throughout the movie. Just when I thought it was getting old, there's a shot of the city, and there's some graffiti in the background that says "CUSS."
