I was asking the same question in another thread. I can only turn my Fender Deville up to about 3 no matter where I play. I just know it would sound so much better higher up. I was considering getting something like this but it's so expensive:

I actually like the new album better than the previous 2 although I have not listened to them a bunch. I still think the 2nd album is the best. I do get a sense that they are becoming this big polished, choreographed rock band based on the Red Rocks show last night. I don't go to many big rock shows as I vastly prefer small clubs so that could have something to do with it. Maybe I'm just not used to the big spectacle shows with the big lights and video monitors, maybe I was grumpy because I had to work today, I don't know. I did hear a few people around me say the same thing though, that

You could be right, maybe I am just being cynical. I know they are huge in the UK so maybe it is a big deal to be headlining red rocks finally. It just sounded kind of rote but I'm not all that familiar with them in general.
