sorry, you are correct. I was thinking of the RHCP vesion of "Higher Ground." i first heard "Alone Again Or" via The Damned, not Love. -
Ultimate Painting were excellent last night. Their last show is at Bowery tonight, so any NYC-ers who dig the Velvets (think Rock and Roll instead of Black Angel Death Song) should definitely make the trip. so worth it.

Wire is one of the best bands. I think i heard Thelonious Monster's "For My Lover" before the Tracy Chapman version. also, Husker Du's version of "Sunshine Superman" before Donovan's. -
