2016 was the year that facts just didn't matter, but it the machinery to enable this way of thinking has been in the works for a while... Thanks, Ailes, Murdoch, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. this was incredibly depressing to listen to. it's definitely worth a listen, and while there aren't too many here, I would love to hear the perspectives of Fox News viewers on this. https://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/599/seriously?act=1#play -

does he know that the ballot had more election races than just the presidency, and also had referendums? -
hey Monica, i can't provide all the details, but hopefully this is helpful. first off, North Adams is not too close to Boston (likely where you will be flying into), and i am not sure of any public transport options available. it's about a 2 hr drive. maybe ridesharing could work, w/ fellow Wilco fans heading out from Boston? The other issue is lodging. the only close-by option is camping, and i doubt you'd want to haul camping gear w/ you from overseas. i think most places within a 15-30 min drive are already booked. sorry to not bring better news, but unless you rent a car and don't mind d

and how would 5% make the libertarian party somehow relevant? does anyone remember the lasting effect of Ross Perot's 19% vote totals in 92? because I don't. -

a friend of mine had a ticket to see Arcade Fire when they played TTs but he blew it off. i think the first time i saw the Pixies was at the Paradise w/ Throwing Muses as well, but maybe not? -

i have no idea what point you are trying to make, but if you are still trying to pretend that Trump has some sort of mandate, keep trying. -

i missed Hozier's set at Newport in 2014, on the small stage. oh yeah, i saw Jason Isbell a couple of times in 2007, once opening for Son Volt and once headlining at TT's. Justin Townes Earle was on that bill too. -

oh yeah i saw Phish at the infamous Paradise show in 89, when they rented the club themselves since no one would book them. -

i saw Smashing Pumpkins at TTs, just after Gish came out. hmmm... who else? I saw The National at the Middle East in 07. Also saw Pavement at the Middle East, on their second East Coast tour, before S&E came out. Saw The Flaming Lips at TTs when Ron Jones was still in the band, '95 or so. it was on the Hit To Death tour. does seeing Deep Wound (pre-Dinosaur Jr band w/ J and Lou) count? oh, another one... I saw Mastodon open for Neurosis in 2007. -
reverse Super Bowl. and again... coaching decisions. why not just give the ball to Blount 4 times if needed?
