  1. I use to listen to that show when Steve Harley was doing it. I also like the Suzi Quatro shows.
  2. I think he was being sincere as in - those people are posters on the wall to you, but I knew them. For me, it's always been The Who. I like Led Zeppelin, but they are up there in the clouds somewhere - The Who were street level.
  3. The BBC does not always make it's programs available to those outside the area. I believe there are ways around this - you can Google it and find a way to do it. My favorite show is Sounds of the 60s - Brian Matthew. Jimmy Savile passed away a few days ago.
  4. I don't know - I will have to check it out some more.
  5. I would not agree with that statement.
  6. I bought it on cassette tape (and then cd at some point). I bet that record album goes for a lot of money on Ebay.
  7. I don't think so. That was in the old days - when you had to buy an album to actually hear it.
  8. The sort of song I don't care for is Get On Your Boots (and I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight). Although I often run down Zooropa, that song Lemon is a great song.
  9. I may be the only person here who likes the song A Man and A Woman.
  10. There is one version of the new Achtung Baby box set that is over 400 hundred dollars.
  11. I'll probably get the 20 dollar version at some point.
  12. I wonder why he is so worried about having "hit singles" at this point? When they start talking like that, or going on about dance music and/or techno, they lose me.
  13. I believe that section of the Wilco website is down. Or they no longer have them up for download. If just Google A Ghost Is Born Ep, you will probably find it.
  14. I think he is three years older than me. I just knew who he was. I did not know him personally.
  15. I went to school with Rich. We rode the same school bus.
  16. According to a post on Wilco's Facebook page:
  17. I guess I should have finished watching the documentary yesterday. It looks like it got taken down.
  18. 29 is one of my favorite Ryan albums. I read a review of the new one somewhere that called it bland. I guess that is how I feel about it. I still don't think I will buy it. I didn't buy the last one either.
  19. You can find a lot of U2 shows on Dime a Dozen. I think I have read that Flanagan book. There was a time when the Dunphy book was going for a lot of money.
