  1. Did anyone get the Winterland box and Hendrix In The West? I will be checking them out when I get home today.
  2. It goes back to the time when he was posting videos on Vimeo and letting people comment on them. He would sometimes interact with people there. He is sort of doing the same thing now - by way of his Facebook page.
  3. The other connection being that Pat was on the Heartbreaker album.
  4. Another connection to Ryan Adams - Tom has worked on several Ryan Adams records.
  5. Although I have not really listened to them in a while, I still think the old stuff is great. I figure if they were not going to tour, then they were not going to make any money. The days of 80 million dollar record contracts are long over. Swan Swan H and Driver 8 are probably still my favorite R.E.M. songs.
  6. My first thought was it reminded me of four Beach Boys songs: County Fair/Country Air/Busy Doin' Nothin'/Heroes and Villains. I have not listened to the stream that much - but I like that song.
  7. Sundazed recently put out the John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers albums Bluesbreakers With Eric Clapton/A Hard Road/Crusade. They do really good work.
  8. I figured they would take them down. I've noticed the other stuff that gets released (Dick's Picks/Road Trips) is left on there for streaming only. I'd like to have some of those shows. I think the only one I have from that tour is Hundred Year Hall.
  9. It's still funny to me that they are putting these shows out with such great care and quality, and people are demanding Mp3 downloads. What other band could put out that many cds and probably not really be all that interested in how much they sell? I bet some people who bought the giant box set are pissed that all the shows are coming out now individually.
  10. It looks like all of the Europe '72 shows are coming out individually: Maybe Calvino can tell us which ones he thinks are the best.
  11. I just saw this by way of Wilco's Facebook page:
  12. Wendy: See the pinned thread: General Info about Front Gate ticketing.
  13. Today, I have been grooving on Weekapaug Groove and Mike's Song from Slip Stitch and Pass.
  14. I have one of the early ones - Blues to The Bush (2 cd set, 1999).
  15. Simon Roger did not sound very well on the shows I have heard. Maybe it is hit or miss. He is also selling live cds of each show.
  16. I have to say once again - it is a shame to do away with all that work. I am willing to take over Wilcobase and do whatever we need to do in order to keep it going.
  17. They have been posting setlists on Facebook for a while now. I think it must be the list that Jeff creates before the show, instead of what was actually played.
  18. It's probably one of the first. I would think Glenn is into Rush. I'm glad to say I've been listening to Rush since the late 1970s. They seem to be experiencing sort of a renaissance these days.
  19. Rolling Stone.com is streaming the PJ20 soundtrack.
  20. Does that mean all the old links are gone? (Owl and Bear, Flickr, Artwork, Reviews, etc.)
