The Whites (BBC 2010) It's a bit weird to see Alan Davies playing a different character other than Jonathan Creek.

Two books? That's a good deal. The sleeves are like the road trip cd cases.

I'd say you are right. That must be a heck of a package. Are there liner notes in each cd case?

The Jayhawks (including Louris, Olson, and related)

I finally picked up the re-masters not to long ago. I have to say the Mystery Demos are great. I had read a little about those tracks before, but had never heard them. I suppose I may dig around and see if I can find the whole collection. -
It ended being 72 cds, right? I see they are now also releasing a Europe '72 Vol. 2 cd.

If I buy the box, it will be the third Beach Boys boxset I have purchased.

You should see the thread on the Smiley Smile message board about the box set. It is over 200 pages long. I may very well go for the 170 deal if I can afford it. I had sort of stopped checking for a release date, and then happened to check the Beach Boys Fan Club site the other day and found the links.

I use to own on that on 8-track - back in the last century.

That song sounds somewhat like the songs he did for the film Elizabethtown

I'm in a building that was built in the 1930s. I felt it.

It's not really a good idea to post links to commercial stuff here. You have to remember that just because Jeff may be easy going, those who who are involved in selling his music are probably not easy going. I believe the last album leaked by way of a link on someone's Twitter account. There's no need to beg people - if you dig around you will find it at some point.

It's good.

There's also the Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out boxset from a couple of years ago. I never bought it. -

Oh - To me it is one of the greatest albums of all time. It's a shame they put out a crappy re-issue. They must all be deaf or just did it for the money. -

I'd say I wasted my money. Oh well. -

I bought a bunch of cds a while back - and I got the two disc version of the Exile and Main Street while I was at it. I have to say it does sound very bright. I was expecting a booklet with some essays or some notes about the sessions. No (tumbling) dice. Holy Crap - those new vocals on the old tracks are terrible. -
Had Me A Real Good Time The Faces: Before, During, & After - Andy Neil I recently bought this book and just finished reading it. I think it is the first rock book I have bought in quiet a while. I'd say I learned some things I did not know. You don't get a very good feeling about Rod by the end of the book. I guess that is not surprising. Mac recently posted on his website that the Faces are going to do some shows in the United States next year. Ron's son Jesse is now playing guitar in the band along side his father. Although I don't have a Twittter account, I recently got an am invi

Bob Egan You can get the dvd by way of The DVD Project.

You can also go to Wilcobase and look up the song. After you do that, click on the page for the show, and you may find a link to the show at The Wilco Live Show Archive. I think there may also be a thread or two in this section of Via Chicago about the acoustic version of Spiders. You may find some links to The Wilco Live Show Archive in those threads.
