remastered, re-packaged, deluxe, super legacy edition
Analogman replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
All the old albums have been re-mastered and re-released once already. I've also heard that they may eventually remix Vapor Trails and re-release it. -

I think those Kinks albums have been re-released several times now. I forget what editions I have. I just ordered the special edition of The Who Sell Out that came out a few years ago. -
This is the track list for the source that appeared in May:

I think he would have taken the money and smiled. Although I am not much of a Nirvana fan, I am curious to hear the original mix also. -
I've read that October 4th 2011 is the release date for Smile now. From Billboard:

I guess you have to roll with the changes. -
That's right. I seem to recall reading about that now.
-
http://viachicagop.org I got it. I also seem to have trouble cutting and pasting things here now. Odd.

Hey - How do we make posted links look like they use to? I don't see the second box that use to be there. http://viachicago.or...-related-links/ (not like this) Bit Torrent and Related Links (like this)

I wonder what that was about. It seems odd that David Lynch would be in there.

I prefer Dio when he was in Rainbow, or the first Sabbath album he did (Heaven and Hell). But - those first two Dio albums are alright. I recall seeing the video premiere of The Last In Line back in the day.
-
I ran across that a while back. I found it a bit odd that he would do such a thing all of a sudden. It looks like he had an Atlanta Pop Festival video up there - but had to take it down.

Isn't that what the bootleg Earthquake Country is suppose to be?

I had those first three tapes. But I was never much of a Megadeth fan. Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! (1985) Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? (1986) So Far, So Good... So What! (1988)

I'd go see them if I had the chance. My memory is of my Dad listening to the Cosmo's Factory album. He bought it when it came out. I still have that album.

I'm not much of a King fan, but I did rather like The Dark Tower, The Stand, The Talisman, and Black House. Salem's Lot is on the list of movies I can not watch because it scares the heck out of me.
-
More than you wanted to know: Stephen King works related to The Dark Tower series The Dark Tower is being developed for a movie and/or some sort of mini-series.

I have to disagree. Whatever people John gets to play with him can't hold a candle to Doug and Stu (Tom R.I.P.). The same as whatever John imitator Stu and Doug hire can not replace John. The magic is not in what is being played, but rather, in what is not being played. I'd love to see John, Stu, and Doug play together. CCR has been one of my favorite bands since I was a little kid.

I have some old ones, but not that old. I think Dylan did something like that last year. It was cash only, if I recall correctly. -
It seems to me I read that somewhere - that he owns something to do with the band's name. That's right. Also, the same thing with Journey, I think.
-
Yes (LOL) I just meant it's sort of funny as they too hired a guy to replace their lead singer.

Some news on the George documentary: Martin Scorsese's George Harrison Documentary Coming to HBO in October
-
I guess the deal is he got pissed off because they would not wait for him to recover from his illness. And also - that they hired that dude from a Yes cover band, and went ahead with the tour. I hope someone writes a book someday about all these bands that do such things. It's sort of funny that they (Yes) are touring with Styx right now.

I read some rumors somewhere a while back that he was going to re-join the band. I guess that is not true. It sounds like they are back to feuding again.
