  1. I had those first three tapes. But I was never much of a Megadeth fan. Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! (1985) Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? (1986) So Far, So Good... So What! (1988)
  2. I'd go see them if I had the chance. My memory is of my Dad listening to the Cosmo's Factory album. He bought it when it came out. I still have that album.
  3. I'm not much of a King fan, but I did rather like The Dark Tower, The Stand, The Talisman, and Black House. Salem's Lot is on the list of movies I can not watch because it scares the heck out of me.
  4. More than you wanted to know: Stephen King works related to The Dark Tower series The Dark Tower is being developed for a movie and/or some sort of mini-series.
  5. I have to disagree. Whatever people John gets to play with him can't hold a candle to Doug and Stu (Tom R.I.P.). The same as whatever John imitator Stu and Doug hire can not replace John. The magic is not in what is being played, but rather, in what is not being played. I'd love to see John, Stu, and Doug play together. CCR has been one of my favorite bands since I was a little kid.
  6. I have some old ones, but not that old. I think Dylan did something like that last year. It was cash only, if I recall correctly.
  7. It seems to me I read that somewhere - that he owns something to do with the band's name. That's right. Also, the same thing with Journey, I think.
  8. Yes (LOL) I just meant it's sort of funny as they too hired a guy to replace their lead singer.
  9. Some news on the George documentary: Martin Scorsese's George Harrison Documentary Coming to HBO in October
  10. I guess the deal is he got pissed off because they would not wait for him to recover from his illness. And also - that they hired that dude from a Yes cover band, and went ahead with the tour. I hope someone writes a book someday about all these bands that do such things. It's sort of funny that they (Yes) are touring with Styx right now.
  11. I read some rumors somewhere a while back that he was going to re-join the band. I guess that is not true. It sounds like they are back to feuding again.
  12. I'll second that emotion.
  13. That is why they hired him, of course. I read an interview with Jon yesterday. He was talking about doing an album with Rick Wakeman. Jon Anderson on Being Booted From Yes: 'Anger Isn't There'
  14. Mp3 files sound like shit anyhow - stick with the sound from the record player. I was actually at one of the shows that was taped for that live album.
  15. I don't know why some stuff is cool, and some stuff is not. You can guys can do what you want, I am just offering my view, and maybe keeping someone from catching a bunch of hell.
  16. I don't have the means to rip records or I would offer to do it for you. I figure you can find the tracks out there somewhere.
  17. It's not really a good idea to post here asking for officially released Wilco tracks. If you do a search, I am sure someone has posted them out there somewhere.
  18. Here is something I did not know about - this use to be a link on the Wilco website:
  19. After checking the Wayback Machine, I see that you are right. I wonder what I was thinking of - maybe the lyrics site.
  20. I don't know if the information is still correct, but there is a thread pinned up there about Front Gate Ticketing. Here are three FAQ pages from the Wilco website:
  21. I was thinking he would run the company from Scranton. We'll see.
  22. You can see him in some Grass Roots videos on Youtube. Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and The Office: Confirmed: James Spader Joins 'The Office' As New Boss I figured he would get it.
  23. If I ever see Jeff again, I may ask him why he chose that song. I love the album John Wesley Harding, but that last two songs (Down Along the Cove and I'll Be Your Baby Tonight) on that album I could do without.
  24. Bob Weir and Chris Robinson - Wake Up Little Susie (TRI Studios) I could think of better songs for them to do - but, they are the ones who pick the songs, I guess.
