  1. They must have a heck of a budget for that show. (The set they recreated there is the set from The Doors Ed Sullivan Show appearance.)
  2. Jimmy Fallon must do his homework: The Doors sing 'Reading Rainbow' theme. The Doors Prep 'L.A. Woman' Reissue with 'Amazing' Bonus Material
  3. My thought was - let's to make it a team effort. I know it is hard to take care of yourself and get plenty of rest while pursing these interests, but it can be done. And someday - add a BT site and message board to the mix.
  4. Black Sabbath Reuniting for New Album, Tour
  5. Eventually, I will let it go. . . I liked Wilcobase quiet a bit. I don't want to look at blogs, Facebook pages, FM.com, and the band's official website to find set lists. I like to find them in the After The Show section, or at Wilcobase. We all like what we like. And I still say it is a shame that all these years Wilcobase gets tossed aside. I also spent a god bit of time connecting show dates with links for the shows at the Owl and Bear. I just think some other people should have been asked. I know there are others out there who have the willingness.
  6. It has been abandoned by those who control it. There are those who offered to take over the operation, but nothing was delivered. You can search the After The Show section to find set lists for the past few years.
  7. Oh I plan to - as soon as I can afford it. Which is odd for me - as I seldom ever buy music anymore. I may buy 5 or 6 cds a years, it that. I think this year I may have bought more than that.
  8. It just does not sound right to me. From what I recall, it was too clean or sterile sounding. I am not really interested in Brian Wilson solo albums. I am interested in The Beach Boys.
  9. I've heard it, but I don't own it. You can't beat Hal Blaine's drumming. I would not do this every band, but when it comes to The Beach Boys, I can actually sit and listen to all the out takes and fragments. Example - Walk On By (on the Friends/20/20 two-fer). It is 55 seconds of good stuff.
  10. Axl Rose - That Metal Show (sneak peak)
  11. There is a one and two disc option. I don't understand placing the Brian solo version over the Beach Boys version. But - everyone likes what they like. That's cool.
  12. I think there is a thread about the PF re-issues. I bought the last Exile remaster - waste of money.
  13. I actually saw them once. I don't know if I would call them metal though.
  14. I wonder if they have ever covered Are You Ready? (Pacific Gas & Electric).
  15. I wonder if he can throw a shoe over a building? I think that is what it was - he gets excited. It was not Oasis level, just hard to understand from time to time.
  16. Doc Martin (Series 5) Someone has put the new season up on Youtube. It's funny as hell right off the bat.
  17. I liked Mark Lamarr's shows, but I could not always understand what he was saying.
  18. Black Sabbath Plots Press Conference; New Album To Come?
  19. I hope the price does not go up on the box set. I can't afford to buy right now.
  20. Of course, you know the story about John, Keith, and the name Led Zeppelin. It's the devil's music. I still prefer LZ III over all the other albums. Oh - I love the band, it's just they are larger than life and on a whole other trip from The Who. I think the Stones often dismissed them also. Which is odd - as Jimmy has played on some Stones tracks over the years. I have to say - Robert had great hair in those days. I have hair envy.
  21. I think he was pretty tanked during the filming of that number. Led Zeppelin were suppose to play that show - but only Robert, John, and John Paul were there.
