  1. According to the last person who posted in that thread in October, it was working. Maybe it's down again.
  2. Don't offer money - that is bad form. If you dig around online, you will find the stuff you want. You just have to put some effort into searching.
  3. Van Halen (2012 World Tour Video Announcement) Van Halen News Desk Scroll down and Check out Chad Smith as Will Ferrell (Elf). Van Halen Dazzles During Intimate Reunion Concert In New York City Dave's Uncle use to actually own Cafe Wha? It's good to see some old school rock. Van Halen Return with 'Tattoo' Single, Video
  4. That reminds me - I may be getting my hands on a Doctor Who - Tom Baker era book soon.
  5. We got the power. Who Gave It To You? Donny Osmond! Donny Osmond?
  6. I have not played that cd in so many years, I can't even remember that song.
  7. I have not got that far yet. I am at Let's Kill Hitler. Some fartknocker took down the channel where I was watching the episodes. But - I found another channel.
  8. I ran across this the other day - pretty cool: Missing Doctor Who Episodes Discovered
  9. I didn't know John Cowsill was playing in the band. Mike Love: Beach Boys Reunion Will Be Amazing
  10. It doesn't seem that much different than someone writing down a set list to me. They are just using something different than a pen or pencil. There was a time when people at Wilco shows use to call people back home and let them listen to the show.
  11. For those of you overseas Rich Robinson European Tour
  12. I don't much care for Full Moon Fever either. It's too polished and it's one of those album I've heard too many times. I suppose the neat thing is - the band has several different sounds/periods, thus - there is something for everyone. I am partial to the live (live sounding) later day stuff. Although - Damn The Torpedoes is a great album - maybe the best one - certainly of the early period.
  13. That's it. I have that boxset.
  14. I'd say both of those things probably. I also have this thing where if all the songs seem to rhyme, it bugs me. I think Stan said something in the documentary a few years ago about those how when he got into the Lynne method, and all the overdubbing, that he sort of lost his way.
  15. I'd say there is at least one of his albums I can't stand - Into The Great Wide Open.
  16. It's still going on for me - just at home - not anywhere else.
  17. People can also do a search by way of bootsdaily.com - or the In A Future Age section of Via Chicago.
  18. That's interesting. The song is really an old mountain/spiritual/traditional song. I believe Uncle Tupelo learned the song from a album of field recordings. I think the song originates in South Carolina. It is African-American in origin.
  19. It's also good to hear there may be another Mudcrutch album. I liked that album a lot more than the his last solo album, or the last Heartbreakers album.
  20. More Mermaid Avenue? Mermaid Avenue Deluxe Edition New Mermaid Avenue There's also the Jay Farrar album of Guthrie songs coming out. I think the new stuff on the boxset will just be the b-sides and demos that are already out there.
  21. That's it. You can't beat the original version of Do It Again though.
  22. I rather like that album also. I bought it when it came out.
  23. I agree - as that is one of his best albums.
