  1. That's the last album of his I bought. I don't think I have listened to it since it came out.
  2. Deadicated came out that year also. It's funny - I don't care for Leonard Cohen, but Joe Cocker's take on Bird On A Wire is one of my favorite songs.
  3. I still say that is weird as hell. I was actually watching some Leslie West and Zakk Wlyde videos yesterday.
  4. I wonder how he ever came to do a tour with Uli Jon Roth? Seems like a weird mix.
  5. From Billboard.com: Clarence Clemons' Nephew Playing Saxophone on Bruce Springsteen Tour
  6. All great albums - Pet Sounds/Sgt. Pepper/Smile. At least they are to me.
  7. Some good news for those who like the early stuff: By way of Billboard.com:
  8. It is a modern term. I like that sort of music myself.
  9. The Allman Brothers are not a jamband. They called themselves a rock band, a blues band, and then the term Southern Rock came into play. But - never a jamband.
  10. How The Brits Rocked America: Go West The second part is up. I've never seen that bit of flilm where Neil Young is lying in bed playing Heart Of Gold before. After that part - another reason why critics are full of shit. That music is some of the best music ever made - and it gets dismissed.
  11. I'm so old, I remember watching B.J. and The Bear. I don't care for 30 Rock, but that was sort of funny.
  12. Looks like Bill is not too happy: By way of Billboard.com:
  13. I think he was working on something like that a few years ago. I believe he was just putting a number out there, like when people say something cost a "gazzillon dollars". I just meant I am one of those old dudes who believes analog sounds better than digital. And tube amps, and drum sounds, etc. All the old stuff sounds better to me. It's just Neil doing what he does. It's all about sound, cars, and trains.
  14. I think that is just the tinker in him looking for something new to mess around with. He's right though about the sound.
  15. Looks like Old Neil is out to kill the Mp3 again: Neil's Plan To Make Digital Music Sound 20 Times Better
  16. It will be up there until the BBC notices it and gets Youtube to take it down. Peter Noone was a bit out of sorts back in the day. A good bit of the sort of music I prefer was made between the years 1964-1973. And the British Invasion is certainly a big part of that scene. They should have got The Rockin' Berries in there.
  17. The taper must have switched some tracks around.
  18. The tracklist of the torrent seems to differ from what is posted above:
  19. How The Brits Rocked America: Go West (Episode 1) Another great BBC documentary.
  20. I know a guy who has a nice FLAC blog where he shares current live shows and old live show bootlegs. He has never offered any sort of stuff you could buy on his blog. And he has thousands of shows up there. He also paid a lot of money for a lifetime Megaupload account. So this was not a great thing for him.
  21. Ok - after looking at the info, I'd say the one you have is a different source. The one I have was created using a VHS tape. It looks like the one at Lossless Legs came from a dvd that belonged to Ken's son.
