Analogman

I think for me it's about the same as those who don't get the Grateful Dead. I just don't see the appeal of this guy's music. I was recently watching a video of a song from Blunderbuss and my first thought was this guy has has been listening to Tanx (T.Rex album). I am sure he has talent and abilities that I will never have, but he does nothing for me. I think I actually own White Blood Cells, but I could never really get into the songs/music. I do like some of what I have read about him - his efforts with regards to mastering music and things of that nature.

I'm holding out for a Farewell To Kings tour.

I've heard some rumors that they are going to play Signals on this tour.

Buck Owens was the man. Those coloring books are already listed on Ebay for 60-90 bucks.

It's interesting how people hear things in different ways. I think that song sounds about as bad as the Lou Reed/Metallica album.

I always thought that was up to the band. Maybe it's not.

Yea - it's funny, there have been several articles/interviews with various band members over the last month or so hinting that they might play. And then Axl does that. He's a trip, that's for sure. I'm a bit dumfounded by who was chosen to induct some of the bands. I think Green Day is suppose to induct GNR. That makes no sense to me. I hate Green Day, but that is beside the point. I just don't see any connection there.

I see Steve Parish is now touring with Moonalice. I was watching some Youtube videos of him the other day.

They basically said they whole deal did not work very well. And it made the vocals sound weird.

When I was listening to that show, I could not help but think of the Bill/Donna/Bob interviews on the GD Movie dvd were they talk about the wall of sound microphone set-up.
