  1. It could be one of those things that just goes back and forth forever. I don't have an iPod, iPhone, nor do I mess with Mp3 files. I figure if I did, I would be more inclined to snag tracks instead of buying cds.
  2. Oh - he certainly fits that title from time to time.
  3. He is a lawyer. He is well known in the entertainment business. I read his blog all the time. I don't always agree with him, but he often puts out some interesting stuff to read. What's funny though is that even though he comes from the time of albums, he always goes on about: And he often rants about older artists bitching about the way things are these days. I sometimes think the way things are now are most likely better for those who are not in the get rich quick disposable top ten. With the internet, you can of course reach many more people that a record company who does not really
  4. If the band allows it to take place - trading live shows, or downloading live shows from a BT site is not stealing music.
  5. This is the one I have: I think it has been out of print since then.
  6. You can get those tracks in their original form by way of a collection called Someone Else’s Songs at the Live Wilco Archive. The last three tracks you can get by finding the whole shows at the Live Wilco Archive.
  7. I had an original pressing of the vinyl. I now have the cds that came out sometime in the 1990s. I think I have a boot dvd of the film. Back in the 1980s, we use to watch it on Cinemax. That guy on drums (Joe English) is a great drummer.
  8. Speaking of GD books, they have The Grateful Dead Family Album book for ten bucks (it was 20) at dead.net. I've always wanted that book.
  9. Here's some Paul news I can actually look forward to: (I found this by way of Expecting Rain)
  10. Although there are exceptions - most of the time those guys don't really write their books anyhow. Mickey doesn't have one, does he?
  11. Everyone gets a book eventually. I am surprised Bob has not written one yet. I have Phil's book. It is not so great.
  12. Thanks. The album cover art for In The Wake of Poseidon is pretty spooky.
  13. Me too. I have never really listened to King Crimson. But - a while back I checked out some stuff on Youtube, and decided I would get these three at some point: In the Court of The Crimson King, In the Wake of Poseidon, and Lizard. That song Epitaph is pretty cool.
  14. From Billboard: Someone does not know their metal. The title is also a "wink" to the Iron Maiden live album Live After Death. Also - you can still find live shows out there, even on Dime a Dozen.
  15. I think I have all three - A Whistle Only Dogs Can Hear, Beneath The Country Underdog and Because It Feel Good. I don't recall listening to them in a long time. I may pick up the new one at some point. P.S. She's a dam sexy woman.
  16. Peter was there at the ceremony.
  17. After Behind The Mask (with Billy Burnette and Rick Vito), Stevie left and Bekka Bramlett joined the band. Also - Rick Vito left, and Dave Mason joined the band. The made an album called Time.
  18. He got the shaft when the band was inducted in the RAR Hall of Fame. Although his time in the band is pretty much overlooked, I think Mick said in his book that they might have ceased if not for him. Just about like those two guys that came after Lindsey.
  19. That riff at about 29 seconds in sounds like The Wanton Song.
  20. I have not heard them in a while now. I figure they are all good. I believe most of these guys have been taping for quite a while.
  21. That does seem odd after the fancy album covers of the last two or three BC records.
  22. Although I think he hated it, I rather like the film of that book.
