  1. That one kid was Willie Nelson's son. I had to look that up. I can't say his music did anything for me. I forgot about the Los Lobos guy - that was very touching. I noticed two of Jerry's daughters were named Annabelle on the screen title. One of them - the second one I think - is actually Trixie. I am curious as to how Luke Wilson ended up there. Move Me Brightly setlists and player list (by way of Jambands.com)
  2. Here's the thread with the links to all the versions that have appeared on BT sites: 1997-02-15 sources
  3. I watched about 40 minutes of the show last night. I guess it is suppose to be up later on today. There were some comments that struck me as rather rude - but I'll try and let that go. Anyhow - I really appreciated Jorma, Jack, and Mike Campbell's interviews.
  4. That show has been out and about for a long time. I figure it's the same source that has been floating around. Although - I could be wrong.
  5. No demo - but you can hear the early versions. Wilcobase>Songs>Spiders (Kidsmoke) Click on a date, scroll down to Audio Sources - look for: Download this show from the Wilco Archive @ Owl and Bear
  6. I can't justify spending that much money on music anymore. I don't really listen to much GD after about 1973 anyhow. I think the most expensive boxset I ever bought was the first Warner Brothers era boxset.
  7. There's also a demo version out there. I think it may be on one of the versions of the Preflyte Sessions.
  8. I'd say they are going more and more for the Deadheads with deep pockets. Plus - they are only printing 9,000 copies. It's not something I would be interested in buying. It's probably moreso a Rhino thing, than a GD thing.
  9. I spent time there in the mid-1980s, but I don't recall much about those days. I know the well known stuff, but it would be cool to dig a little deeper and check out some places that are not usually on the list.
  10. He was on an episode of Steve Gorman's show a while back. Someday - I am coming out there again. And you can show me all the places where most of my favorite music was born. I know that sort of music is not your cup of tea exactly, but you do live in the magic city.
  11. The article seemed to a bit odd to me at times. I found that bit about his plastic surgery and the band members medical problems out of place. Or maybe I am just not use to reading such things about Bruce.
  12. I can't bring myself to post a video with Yoko in it, so I am glad you found it.
  13. I saw part of that on BBC America last weekend.
  14. I read an interview with Nils the other day - he said he didn't think American audiences could handle a show that long. Also - here is a rather long article about Bruce by way of the New Yorker magazine - We Are Alive - Bruce Springsteen at sixty-two.
  15. Google Don't Frack My Mother - and you'll see what that's all about. It's a song by Sean and Yoko.
  16. I don't know if anyone ever checks the thread I made with all the links anymore, but I put a link to your blog there. Maybe you could get someone to pin this thread.
  17. I am sure the shows will be just fine. Put them up at bt.etree.org - and everyone can grab them.
  18. They turned down the request to be on there. That is sort of what led to The Live Wilco Archive.
  19. I have to disagree with the "poor quality recordings" statement. AUD shows sound just fine to me. Of course, depending on the type of equipment, and the experience of the taper, the quailty will be different. It's just another way for the band to make some money. Believe it or not, there are still people out there who sell bootlegs, and people who will still buy them. So I think they may be doing this as a way to kill that. I believe that is why Pearl Jam began selling live shows.
  20. The Allman Brothers Band policy is even weirder. They allow taping, but no online trading - only through the mail trading.
  21. Let's hope they don't change anything. Those you want to buy live shows can do so and be happy. And those who collect (for lack of a better term) AUD and old SBD shows can continue doing what they do.
