  1. I believe that guitar was given to him by Joe Walsh.
  2. I thought that was a SBD of the rehearsal show - and not the actual show.
  3. Those Japan shows are great. There is also at least one multi-track show out there to be had - Southhampton 1973.
  4. That's what it has to be - unless it's some sort of live vault release. Jimmy likes to say there is nothing to release, but that is not true. I still with they would re-master the cds. I'm not all that fond of the sound of the studio boxset. I bought that almost 15 years ago.
  5. Also - this is officially coming out: The Who: Live in Texas 75 (dvd).
  6. The must think if they don't play Working Man the people will riot. Looks like they are changing it up:
  7. Opening night of the new tour (setlist):
  8. Maybe he will play some of those Mystery Demo songs. I rather like several of those songs.
  9. Introducing Roy Buchanan (AKA Greatest Unknown Guitarist In The World) PBS, 1971
  10. It may have been The Dave Clark Five, or The Blues Magoos.
  11. You can search the In a Future Age section of this message board. Or Go to Wilcobase - then Songs, then B - scroll down until you see the song title, click on the song. Then you will see the list of dates the song has been played. Click on whatever date you choose. After that, scroll down until you see Audio Sources. You should see some links there to some shows at The Live Wilco Archive at the owl and bear. You can also use Google and find the EP:
  12. That book is great. I learned a lot of stuff I did not know about.
  13. I acquired an e-book version of Tony Iommi's book (Iron Man: My Journey through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath) the other day. I think this may be the first rock book I have read on my Nook. I am glad I did not pay for it, because it is not that great. That Monkees book is great by the way. Towards the end it has a lot of information about Michael's early albums.
  14. I have not listened to it yet. I figure I'll grab the new one along with the new Dylan album.
  15. The second one is coming out in a couple of weeks:
  16. I've heard of it, but not for someone such as Dylan. That video for Duquesne Whistle is horrible. It looks like a women's underwear commercial directed by David Lynch.
  17. The cd I got back in the day is a promo copy. I'll take a photo of it one of these days.
  18. Looks like they used another song also - Scarlet Town.
  19. And speaking of Too Far To Care. . . Too Far To CAre (15th Anniversary of Too Far To Care special editions) It's hard to believe it's been that long. What a fantastic album.
  20. That's from the Sessions at West 54th Street - Gram Parsons Tribute (1999).
  21. I ran across that site yesterday - looking at some Beatles news. It's a good thing I don't jump to buy cds like I use to.
  22. I've read in various places over the years that the so-called punk rock people hated such bands. I suppose Bob is sort of like Mick Jagger - in that he stays current.
