Bands you discovered by accident or as openers
Analogman replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
I saw them on that tour. I have a Robert Plant signed cd from the show. Some of the band came out and played with Plant - if I recall correctly. -
There were other Dylan cds there, just not the new one. It could be they sold out of what they had in the racks.
-
I was at Walmart earlier and noticed they did not have any copies of the new cd. I find that a bit strange.
-
And the GD movie? I don't think I will buy this - but that would be cool to see it in a theater.

Kelly Hogan - I Like to Keep Myself in Pain

Kelly Hogan - New Album and opening for Neko Case and Andrew Bird and Wilco -
The packaging is terrible though. You can (if they have not been yanked) find the tracks they left off on Youtube (the Royal Albert Hall bits and others).

I don't recall - but I am sure that if they are going to put that show out, they have taken care of that.

Official Doctor Who discussion thread
Analogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I watched most of the first episode of the new season. It was alright, I suppose. But - since I am now watching the Tom Baker years (which is where I began back in the early 1980s) I still say he is the best. Of course some of the stories and effects seem hokey now, but that is part of the magic to me. I don't think I will get finished this year, but I am still on course to watch every episode there is out there. -
I still don't recall a SBD of the actual show leaking. This is what I have:

New Neil Young album - with Crazy Horse!
Analogman replied to Vacant Horizon's topic in Someone Else's Song
I think there is a Yahoo Group. There use to be several NY message boards - I think most of them are inactive now. Thrasher's Wheat is still active - of course. By way of Relix: -
I seem to recall reading that somewhere.
-
I think I read somewhere that Charlie Is My Darling is coming out on DVD around the same time as the new documentary.
-
I believe that guitar was given to him by Joe Walsh.
-
I thought that was a SBD of the rehearsal show - and not the actual show.
-
Those Japan shows are great. There is also at least one multi-track show out there to be had - Southhampton 1973.
-
That's what it has to be - unless it's some sort of live vault release. Jimmy likes to say there is nothing to release, but that is not true. I still with they would re-master the cds. I'm not all that fond of the sound of the studio boxset. I bought that almost 15 years ago.

Also - this is officially coming out: The Who: Live in Texas 75 (dvd).

The must think if they don't play Working Man the people will riot. Looks like they are changing it up:

Maybe he will play some of those Mystery Demo songs. I rather like several of those songs. -

Introducing Roy Buchanan (AKA Greatest Unknown Guitarist In The World) PBS, 1971

It may have been The Dave Clark Five, or The Blues Magoos.

You can search the In a Future Age section of this message board. Or Go to Wilcobase - then Songs, then B - scroll down until you see the song title, click on the song. Then you will see the list of dates the song has been played. Click on whatever date you choose. After that, scroll down until you see Audio Sources. You should see some links there to some shows at The Live Wilco Archive at the owl and bear. You can also use Google and find the EP:
