The Who - 11/03/12, Orlando, FL (Amway Arena)
Analogman replied to Mr. Heartbreak's topic in After The Show
Maybe they will play the songs that are on the Quadrophenia soundtrack album at some point (Four Faces, Get Out and Stay Out, and Joker James). -
Well - this is good news:
-
That is from The Wedge - MuchMusic - a Canadian music video channel. Maybe it was around the time of this show: 1996-11-20. The video is on Mr. Hamm's dvd - Wilco - DVD Project Vol 28.
-
I think this is the video he was talking about:
-
I looked through the catalog for that auction this morning. Old Ronnie must have not taken anything when he left her. The catalog is 191 pages long. Towards the end there was a 55 Strat up for sale. I would think he wishes he still had that.
-
I was listening to the show last night - by way of archive.org. It sounded pretty good to me.
-
I think Chuck Leavell was there on keyboards.
-
I don't think they are anymore. It's funny to read the comments sometimes. Someone in the comments under the video claims those acoustic 1970 shows puts him to sleep. That's nuts.

Dave's Picks #5 announced - 11/17/1973. He also talks about the cache of tapes they recently acquired.
-
I believe they played (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction on the Ed Sullivan Show when I was 12 days old.
-
Axl was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night: Axl Rose on Jimmy Kimmel Live PART 1 I was reading some of the Neil Young twitter questions yesterday - and someone mentioned Guns N Roses will be touring with Neil and Crazy Horse.
-
Yea - I wouldn't call it that either. They just take time off between tours. I think this time the feeling is it may be the end. I saw a recent photo of Keith the other day. The dude looked worse that usual.
-
The only way I would pay that much bread is if the price included a time machine to travel back to the 1969 tour.

I wonder how they are going to get Bill to fly to the states? Maybe he is coming over on a ship. Supposedly, that is the reason he left the band - he could no longer handle flying.
-
I was wondering about this:
-
I don't think I care for that. It seems to me they are playing too hard and too fast.
-
Station Man is a Danny Kirwan song. It's on the Fleetwood Mac album Kiln House. I'd say the original version is the best.
-
I wasn't to crazy about Luther at first - but I think I grew to like his style by the time of the last album.
-
Never Been To Spain (Hoyt Axton - Three Dog Night) I agree. But - I'd say Marc has burned all his bridges there.
-
They should have done Revolution Blues. I can hear Axl singing "I won't attack you, but I won't back you."
-
Totally weird.
-
I just read that Axl Rose and Neil did a song together at the Bridge School concert this past weekend.
-
I think Michael Stipe use to do that also - instead of using a TelePromter. I get the feeling that guy is pretty much fried. So that is why he has to use a book.

Crash On The Levee (Down In The Flood) is a Bob Dylan song. He does some obscure songs sometimes - such as Goodbye Wheeling by Mel Tillis.
