My first thought is the song sounds like something off of Pump. I think it's great if they make a new album that is not all power ballads, and they have success with it - just as KISS and Van Halen have done. But - it's not something I would buy.

The shows from England (May 1972) are being streamed over at Dead.net. The Stranger (Two Souls In Communion) is a heavy song indeed. The Playing In The Band from May 23rd has great playing from Jerry.

If you print all the articles from that blog - it comes out to over 700 pages. Two shows I am listening to this evening: Grateful Dead Live at The Eureka Municipal Auditorium on 1968-01-20 Grateful Dead Live at Fox Theatre on 1972-10-18

That is true - they allow filming. I can't think of another band that allows that.

There was also a skit where Mick played Steven Tyler: So You Think You Can Dance At A Music Festival? -
I can't say I care much for that drummer.

Amazon.com does seem to have all the Dylan cds I don't have for a good price. Speaking of Dylan albums, the word is that he has a new one finished.

I noticed she was there. Which is odd, as he has been touring with other people the last couple of years. -

Here's the blues song - Tea Party (with Jeff Beck) I don't care for either one of those bands. It's cool to see Jeff Beck though. -
Uncle Tupelo Reunion Tour. You heard it here first.

I also have to wonder how Ozzy manages to sing some of those songs. I've read various reports over the past few years that the vocals are not exactly live.

Audley left the band, but he is on the album. Oddly enough, Steve is not too fond of the GD. Or so I have read.

I doubt you would get a response, but you could try contacting the person who has the show listed at db.etree.org. I can't help but wonder if the listing is an error - as there is no information listed. I've never seen the show anywhere. -
Although I am usually not into bands doing covers, The Black Crowes and Chris by himself have done some great versions of GD songs.
-
I'd say you are wrong about that - but we all like what we like.

I don't care for 30 Rock, and The Office was renewed. That surprises me - as Dwight is going to have his own show, and Mindy is going to have a show on Fox.

They moved it to Friday nights. Where shows go to die. They also shortened Parks and Recreation next season also. This year I liked the one about the Dean's commercial, the air conditioning stuff, Inspector Spacetime, and Chang's takeover.

Yea - Old Wyman was pretty much written out of their last history book. Of course, he has his own books. Van Halen has done this with Michael Anthony.

On the videos I saw, he stopped the show to complain about the air vents messing up his voice, and to stop a fight in the crowd. He also has all those stories about his dogs and whatnot. It seemed to me he was running the show - that is, he was the boss. I would think they would get tired of that. It could just be Eddie's cancer has returned.
-
Trigger Hippy has an album coming out this year also.

I see Chris Robinson is playing shows with Phil again. I'd like to see one of those.
