Below is the third update (04/13/2012):

This is pretty darn cool: April 12, 2012 as Ian McLagan and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Day.
-
He probably threatened to sue the board of directors. At least Izzy will be up there.
-
I always thought that was up to the band. Maybe it's not.
-
Yea - it's funny, there have been several articles/interviews with various band members over the last month or so hinting that they might play. And then Axl does that. He's a trip, that's for sure. I'm a bit dumfounded by who was chosen to induct some of the bands. I think Green Day is suppose to induct GNR. That makes no sense to me. I hate Green Day, but that is beside the point. I just don't see any connection there.
-
He tells GD stories before the band comes out.
-
I see Steve Parish is now touring with Moonalice. I was watching some Youtube videos of him the other day.
-
They basically said they whole deal did not work very well. And it made the vocals sound weird.
-
When I was listening to that show, I could not help but think of the Bill/Donna/Bob interviews on the GD Movie dvd were they talk about the wall of sound microphone set-up.

Bob Weir Talks Business on CNBC Dave's Pick Volume 2 (now available) There's another interview with Dave Lemieux on that page.
-
Oh sorry. Carry on.
-
They were going for that 80s sound. I guess they were trying to fit in with the times. Like the GD with Touch of Grey.
-
It was a supergroup (The Band, The Byrds, The Lovin Spoonful', The Young Rascals, Ronnie Spector, and whoever the bass player is. He looks like Fred Turner from B.T.O). That song is on John's album Tar Beach. I think Levon Helm is also on that album. It was released in 1993.

I saw that link on Facebook due to Cary Hudson - and figured the Wilco place was on the list.

12 Restaurants With Musical Ties
-
Interesting. It must be one of those Legacy releases.
-
I've seen it somewhere, but I can't recall the name of it. I think it was some sort of "supergroup" deal. I think this is what I was thinking of: We Are The World (1985)

Official Doctor Who discussion thread
Analogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I recall watching it when it was on. There are also those films with Peter Cushing. I recall seeing them by way of the public library's VHS collection many years ago. Along with the video Mr. Crow posted, I also some an announcement about the new girl who is going to be on the show. Since I found the Sherlock series online, I have taken a break from watching Doctor Who. Jenna-Louise Coleman Terror of the Autons (01/02/1971) - first appearance of The Master. The Invasion of The Dinosaurs. I wonder who came up with the idea of the hovercraft car. Pretty wacky. I'm now watching this epi -
I thought of her, but she would not be hanging around the stage - I don't think. She would have been too busy with the tapes. It could be Frankie Weir. More photos from the show - Jim Anderson.

Dick's Picks Number 35

I remember when people looked like that. There are some great 1970s candid photos on Flickr.

Dave's Picks Volume 2 (07/31/1974) There are some nice photographs accompanying the early announcement of the release. I know that one chick is Donna, but who is the other woman?
