  1. I posted that, and then forgot about grabbing it last night. I'll get to it.
  2. I guess you could say he is a campaigner for that place.
  3. I've heard that is going to change.
  4. You should be able to go to Wilcobase and get all the setlists you want. It's just sort of behind at the moment. All you need to do is say - "setlist courtesy of Wilcobase". Information wants to be free.
  5. Just saw this on my Facebook page: It's odd - yesterday I was looking at the thousands of cds I have and was remembering a time when I use to look at, or buy a cd almost everyday. And now I might buy a couple a year, if that. It's funny how things change.
  6. It's one of the best rock books ever written.
  7. That book is several years old now, of course. Maybe it meant just that one year.
  8. A lot of it is funding other people's research. Particularity, the Lionel Train stuff. I think in that book, the author states he made more money from the train stuff, than he did off the music stuff. I doubt his old records sell all that much. Maybe Harvest.
  9. Speaking of shows, someone is putting up all of the Black Crowes 1996 shows at Dime a Dozen.
  10. I don't do lawns - except once a few years ago. I don't even really go to concerts. It was really just everything lining up last summer as to why I made the Rush show.
  11. As long as he does not return to the screaming in the microphone style of the past, it's all good.
  12. It looks like he is pretty much staying with the so-called country-rock vibe. If that is the case, then that makes me interested to hear the shows, and the album.
  13. I think that is just the new norm for artists at that level. I paid 250 bucks to see Rush last summer. It if was the summer of 1977, it would have cost, what 20 bucks or something. I figure that is just the way it is. Plus, the cost of everything is going up, all the time. I don't see how bands like Wilco can afford to charge 40 bucks or whatever it is they charge. I would think they will have to raise their ticket prices at some point. Plus, if you read the Shakey book, they you learn that Neil does not sit around on piles of money, he spends it. And I doubt he sells enough new records to
  14. I think it works good that way. I don't know much about posting photos here.
  15. If you click on the image after it is posted, it will blow up real good.
  16. Neil was taping an episode of the same show Jeff did the other day (The Strombo Show).
  17. Those later albums are ok, but I prefer the early stuff. I think much like the GD, the live stuff beats the studio stuff.
  18. Furthur and Mountain Guitarists Join The Brothers Leslie West sat in last night, among others. That dude is a hell of a guitar player.
  19. This whole deal must translate to some business for however many vinyl pressing plants there are left in this country. I can only hope they are not being pressed overseas somewhere.
  20. The sebi2704 source is listed as being the full show (AUD source). I doubt the radio station would tape or stream the whole show.
  21. John Keene (Speedy) wrote that song - he was Pete's driver. He also wrote Something in the Air.
  22. Check out this thread from the Greatest Lost Track of All Time>In a Future Age section of the board: Wilco 09/24/2010 Circus Krone, Munich, Germany
