  1. Grateful Dead Live at Hill Auditorium on 1971-12-15
  2. I use to have that book when I was a kid. It disappeared at some point over the years. It got re-printed in 2002.
  3. It's worth having though, as you get studio chatter, a nice booklet, and that version of Big is different. There are probably some other differences also. I forgot about this: Some more information:
  4. I'd say they did. The songs sound different to me. (I meant who wants Mp3s.)
  5. But who wants that? I know, I know. I have what you just posted, plus I found another copy a few years back, and gave it to LB. It goes for about 40-50 bucks here I think. The Sundazed re-masters sound better than the tracks on Vintage: the Very Best of Moby Grape of Moby Grape.
  6. I would think that photograph was take in one of the 120 rooms at Friar Park. I recall reading somewhere that Olivia sold the house in 2002.
  7. My favorite 78 speed rock song is Magnolia Simms by The Monkees. It was simulated, and not really 78, like the Moby Grape song.
  8. Just Like Gene Autry: A Foxtrot (written by Skip Spence, featuring Arthur Godfrey)
  9. Besides the Edsel version of the first album, and the copy of Great Grape I have, I have still never seen any of the albums anywhere.
  10. I read this a while back. I am going to buy a copy of it this month. The Monkees: The Day-By-Day Story of the 60s TV Pop Sensation
  11. I saw a dude with a box of Beatles stuff on the Antique's Road Show a while back. He had bought it for next to nothing. The pieces were each worth quite a bit, if I recall correctly.
  12. I would be surprised if he ever lets someone get that close again. He did try to stop the dude from publishing the book at one point.
  13. I did not know they were still selling them. I wonder how they are getting away with that? Maybe you can find them on Gemm or Ebay.
  14. I think the last time I looked, Moby Grape and Wow/Grape Jam were going for 30-60 bucks each.
  15. The deal is - the first two are out of print. Sundazed re-issued the cds, but then they had to remove them, due to legal issues. I bet you can find used copies out there. Don't buy any of the cds unless they are the Sundazed re-issues, as the San Francisco Sound cds are edited.
  16. Lost’s Henry Ian Cusick on Desmond’s Big Episode and the Secrets of the Finale
  17. Sites where Wilco shows are most likely to appear: bt.etree.org Dime A Dozen.org Sometimes, a new show will appear here: The Trader's Den.org Other sites: Hunger City.org Pure Live Gigs.com Zomb Torrents.com
  18. The Lady and I saw them on the way to PA weekend before last.
  19. I should have posted this before. Alex Chilton died recently. I suppose we have to remember that Big Star was not exactly a top forty band that everyone would know about.
  20. He is thinking of this:
  21. I swear every time I read articles like that, I think of The Postman. I know some people who used to be one of those deals back in the 1990s.
  22. Has anyone seen the billboard advertisements for his tour? Conan O’Brien Back On Stage, but Away From TV
  23. This makes me think of the great deal I got on an original pressing of Yessongs - only to find out it did not include the book.
  24. No - it is a new book he has out. The only one of those 33 books I read was about The Band. I didn't like it, so I never finished it. Besides Shakey, and the David Lee Roth book, my favorites books to read are the day by day books, the gear books, or the books written by Martin Popoff.
