Pearl Jam - Got Some from The Tonight Show There is an interesting interview with Jay Leno in one of the recent issues of Rolling Stone. He states that he does not spend any of the money he makes from TV, but rather, he lives on what he makes from doing stand-up comedy gigs.

I don't think any bands allow video taping. I suppose there are some out there somewhere, but I am sure it is rare.

I've seen some of those up at BT sites. I don't recall if I have seen the Tom Waits episode anywhere or not. You might find it at Tape City or Dime A Dozen.

I suppose people would not like it - but couldn't you just shut the board down for a day or two.

I saw the cd in a record store in Pittsburgh the other day. I was on a mission to get the rest of the T.Rex cds I don't have. They didn't have those, but I was able to snag the Box Tops cds that Amazon has been unable to get me. I started to grab the CSN disc, but I had already spent what I had. I think I may pick it up at some point though.

I believe Crawdaddy! along with Rolling Stone are credited as establishing a place for rock music and culture writing beyond the simplistic teen fare of magazines such as Tiger Beat. After that, I don't know what came next - CREEM and some other magazines, I suppose.
