  1. I have not been to Ohia since the 1970s. I have some relatives there, somewhere. Columbus, I think.
  2. I think we would do just fine. We could go to the mountains, or we could go to Pittsburgh.
  3. I know someone who once went to a place where such things went down back in the 80s and found some of the work still there.
  4. I heard you are coming over next week. I'll take you to the mountains.
  5. I believe there were some other message boards started while Via Chicago was down. There is usually less traffic in the summer, than there is during the winter months. Also, the other day I read something that seemed to suggest that Facebook and Twitter are replacing Message Boards as a means for fans to connect. Personally, I like it quiet.
  6. That is sort of what happened to me when I saw Phil Lesh. It was not the weather, but due to a long wait between sets, and too many rowdy folks, we left.
  7. Listening Party - Road Trips Volume 2 Number 3
  8. If you can download a RapidShare/Yousendit/Sendspace link containing a Zip Folder with Mp3's inside, you can direct download FLAC files from The Wilco Archive. Also - if you just do a Mp3 blog search, you will probably find what you are looking for.
  9. I wonder who was wearing the glove - Tony or Geezer?
  10. I was waiting for the security dude to put him in a choke hold.
  11. That dude sounds like Chris Farley - sort of.
  12. There is a review of this show up at No Depression.
  13. Yes, I have been saying that off and on for years.
  14. I think that is what it partly comes down to - the money issue. Also, when some people appear to be closer to the person in question than than you are, and you want that closeness but can't have it, you may get upset. To be honest, I use to be one of the people jabbing. But, I let go of that some time ago. I've met Jeff, and talked to him, and I have seen him play solo, as well as, seen the band several times. That's good enough for me. Is it a different deal if the dude is playing in your living room? I am sure it is. But - I just don't think it's worth getting jacked up over anymore. I so
  15. Thank you for posting the information.
  16. There's a post at The Ryan Adams Archive that list a whole bunch of websites that he posts stuff on. I think I checked them the other day - and there was nothing new. I think he has been mainly making Youtube videos, and working on his new book coming out. I guess this is recent: ryanada.ms I found the post - here they are: http://ryanada.ms/ http://werewolph.com/ http://sleazyhandshake.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/dradamsfilms http://twitter.com/ryanada_ms http://twt.fm/ryanada_ms http://www.facebook.com/ryanadams http://www.myspace.com/ryanadams http://twitpic.com/photos/ryan
  17. Dudes, we have been down this road before. Your jabbing is going to turn into people giving you hell, and then, more jabbing from you. Why don't you just drop it and move on? If you have the bread, you can try and get in on a LRS group next time, or, if you dislike the whole idea of the LRS, you can just let it go and don't worry about it.
  18. I saw this on Digg this morning. It sounds like a Radiohead song, sort of.
  19. Hopefully, someone gives us something official - that can be added to the language the we see under Wilco's listing on various BT sites. Personally, I am more worried about the people who keep posting AUD video in the After The Show section, when it has been stated not to do so.
  20. I think you are talking about something different than what is going down. It's a different deal than what is covered in their taping policy - the problem is, there was/is no language about the so-called living shows, and therefore, at some point they were put out there for everyone to grab. As we see now, that was done in error. We are taking steps to correct that, and we are still being allowed to tape and share regular Jeff/Wilco shows. I seek and work on collecting Wilco shows almost everyday, and now have over 300 GB of Wilco shows, and I can tell you that this the first time we have bee
  21. To be clear, we are talking about a private show, so to speak, not a regular live show where anyone can buy a ticket and see the band. I think we should just let it go and move on. There are hundreds of Jeff/Wilco shows out there for people to grab and listen to, so it does not seem like such a big deal to me that a few were removed by request. I believe part of the GD SBD deal had to do with the band and their management team gearing up to sell copies of all the soundboard tapes. And, sort of like what we have going on here, they were only removed from Archive.org. Actually, they were not
  22. Drowning Man - I never know if I like this song or not. I have always thought it was sort of clunky. Since The Unforgettable Fire is my favorite U2 album, I don't have anything negative to say about them playing the title song. I was listening to the new album the other night. I like the song Moment Of Surrender.
  23. Note - all of the Living Room Shows have now been removed from The Wilco Archive.
