  1. If you go by the Purple Chick releases, there is a ton of stuff to be had.
  2. And if she was say, 16, a lot of people would say that is ok. And to go even beyond that - why is it when a female teacher is busted messing with a student her sentencing is typically lighter than when a male teacher gets busted for messing with a student. And also - do religious figures who do this sort of thing usually go to jail - or is it simply a matter of a pay-off. I think it always comes down to how much power/money a person has.
  3. I suppose that depends on a person's culture, country of origin, or religious cult membership. And for some, how much money/power they have, and what they can get away with doing.
  4. He was not the only one. And of course, now we are on a different trip.
  5. Another story you don't here much about - just like when Elvis first met Priscilla. It was not overlooked for Jerry Lee, though.
  6. I should give an example of a song I think is good: Never Can Say Goodbye (studio version) Now, there is another version of this on Youtube from their (Jackson Five) variety show - it's just not the same vibe. Also - here is a bit of the cartoon for those who never saw it: The Love You Save (from the Jackson Five cartoon show)
  7. I could never get into that music. As I already said, to me he was someone from a cartoon when I was a little kid. I don't deny he had talent, but the sort of music he made as time went by is just not my cup of tea.
  8. From the news coverage I have seen, the talk is mainly about his money problems, his death, his past legal troubles, etc. I'd say that sort of coverage is going to be what the major news outlets are going to focus on. I have seen some talk of his talent, of course, but it seems to be in the context of how he was worshiped by so many people around the world. I figured someone was going to propose this at some point: Michael Jackson May Be Buried At Neverland
  9. Speaking of The Blues, and Chicago, I saw this last night: Maybe they went to that record store while they were there.
  10. From Jambands.com: Phish (Offcial Site)
  11. I think Paul owns the Buddy Holly songs. From the LA Times:
  12. I was looking at a Michael Jackson thread on another board I am on - and noticed it almost mirrors this one. You can tell a person's age by what they say about him I think. And I don't think I ever I really listened to them past the age of twelve. Although his music after the Jackson Five is not the sort of thing I would listen to, it is interesting that his stardom spans such a wide age group. He still has the biggest selling album of all time (Thriller) - although, it seems to also be listed at Number 2, depending on which list you are looking at. (The Eagles Greatest Hits, Bat Out Of
  13. The "instruments" for the game. I happened to see that photo on another message board. Why does Paul's bass have a tremolo bar on it? Here is the answer:
  14. It is working. I think there is some setting that people have to check to accept personal messages.
  15. Speaking of money - AEG Facing $85 Million Refund For Michael Jackson Shows
  16. I wonder if the family will fight that deal.
  17. We'll all get to see that again, as I am sure VHI will run the 4 hour long Jackson Family movie sometime soon. The first record I ever picked out by myself was a Jackson Five record - around 1974 I think. I am sure it had to do with the cartoon that was on Saturday mornings back then. I can't say I ever liked his music after that time period. I didn't even know he was in LA. I thought he was living somewhere in the Middle East, being looked after by the Nation of Islam. At least, I recall reading that somewhere.
