  1. Ryan is ripping people off. You can find live versions of it out there.
  2. It was certainly different from the run of the mill rock trivia quizzes you usually find.
  3. I think what I have is a cd with a mix of the three SPS songs and some of the Foamfoot songs. I'll have to check and see. I guess I don't have the Foamfoot show - I must have not kept it after I heard it, for some odd reason. I figure it's out there to be had.
  4. Foamfoot is worth seeking out also:
  5. For those who like answers, I'd say we got a lot of them tonight. Lost Untangled
  6. Sara must be one of the most straight forward personal songs that be ever put out there.
  7. I've read interviews with Chris where he says that Three Snakes is the best Black Crowes album. I like the music more so than some of the lyrics on that album.
  8. I think the smoke monster/chain thing is connected to the wheel that Ben turned to move the island. Which is place where they were working a while back, and told to be careful as the area would make them sick - if I recall correctly.
  9. I have not heard that. The Confessor took his blog down.
  10. Some people may not know how far back these bands go: The Scorpions (1965) Deep Purple (1968) Judas Priest (1969) Although - America did not really know about The Scorpions until 1979.
  11. The Dusty Springfield question was one of the ones I missed. I don't recall the other ones.
  12. Speaking of acoustic Dylan songs: Farewell Angelina And, a great version by Joan Baez - Farewell Angelina
  13. I have not played The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion in a while. What a great album it is. Some detailed information about the album - from Crowesbase.
  14. Of course, these days you can find this "rock trivia" stuff online. I learned it from reading thousands of rock magazines and books. Some people care about this sort of thing, some don't. I like to have conversations with those who do. As you say - there is always something to learn. I like that also. The agent art of weaving things no one else gives a shit about.
  15. I still have not seen the movie.
  16. Not a band I listen to, but yes, I think they should be in there. For one thing, there is the longevity issue, number two, they have their own sound and style going on.
  17. The serial killer guy who they come to see in prison about passwords or whatever it was?
  18. One of the reasons Desire sounds the way it does is due to the fact it was pretty much done in one night. Emmy Lou Harris did not even know what was going on.
  19. Will Lost's Time Travel Ever Make Sense?
