  1. I was thinking - the Obama campaign really had things rolling with their volunteer force. All around here this week I have seen not just signs, but messages written in chalk on the sidewalks around town. Also, there was a flyer under my door when I got home Monday night. I did not see anything like that from the McCain campaign.
  2. Jack Bruce always talks that way. I thought those Cream re-union shows were terrible.
  3. I'd like to have one of those hologram machines. I could stay home, and send myself to work.
  4. What was the speech that dude mentioned - this one ?: A More Perfect Union
  5. They are showing some dude in a hologram. Far out, man.
  6. I think it is a sad state of affairs that when they show the McCain headquarters on TV - there is Hank Jr. signing some hokey country song.
  7. Democrats snag Va. Senate seat, seek more gains

  9. Hi Boys and Girls, I'm Mountain Bed, and I'm from Indiana.
  10. Something different - I am quite fascinated by the Amish - and I found this article mentioned on a blog about the Amish that I read. Amish Looking Upward . and Who Is The Mystery Man Behind Prop 8?
  11. This time, no one was asked to show ID or a voter's card, but, they did have people sign a paper slip - which had the person's signature on it. Then, a perforated bar coded tab from that sheet was broken off and taken with the voter - and after voting, the perforated tab of paper was given to a poll worker on the way out.
  12. Joe Leiberman is still standing behind McCain - amazing.
  13. That is how the person I work with looks at it - she told me she refuses to use anything else.
  14. The last time, we had the touch screen deal, but, as I said earlier, now we have a different type of machine. I certainly don't think there were enough machines in there, but I suppose we are use to less people voting - instead of a lot of people voting. I tip my cap to those who have been standing in line - sometimes for 8 or more hours.
  15. I was talking to someone I work with a little while ago and she was asking me if I had the option to do a paper ballot - I don't think I have seen one of those since the 2nd Clinton term. She said where she lives, they only had five of those plastic deals for paper ballots, which slowed everything down.
