  2. I see your point. I bought all of The Beach Boys cds three times - so I am just glad they got it right finally.
  3. I posted this once already - but as I know you dudes will just want Mp3s - try this: Hacking Google: Turning a Search Engine into an MP3 Downloader Note: I don't know if this works, I don't use it, just passing along some information.
  4. Oddly enough, what I did and you said also happened on another message board I posted the article on.
  5. We had a thread about the film - where we talked about that. A lot of people did not know there was bits filmed on a soundstage and stuck in the film until the re-release came out. I have several nice SBD shows now - some from that tour. I have not listened to that in a while - think I will now. I still think the cd packaging is rather second rate though. June 25th setlist and show information June 27th setlist and show information
  6. I'm down with that - but, that one is what we have on film. I just think there is a lot of power, groove, and skill in what we get to see there.
  7. Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins Unfinished Music No.2: Life with the Lions I've never heard them. I don't really care for that sort of thing.
  8. Check Kathy's site - maybe she can point you in the right direction.
  9. I have to say this is still one of my favorite concert film moments of all time: The Song Remains The Same (film version)
  10. I saw that display yesterday - all of their cds were less than ten bucks. I may go back and buy them all. AC DC present the world's first music video in Excel format.
  11. I've never actually heard it - but have read about it. I have also read that there are a lot of fake versions of the song floating around on the internet.
  12. Like he actually has any hits - ha ha. I looked for the new cd in 4 different stores today, no luck. Looks like Amazon.com is going to be my new cd store.
  13. Some post election news - I think Mr. Ayers was on one of those TV news shows the other day:
  14. A ha. At first I was not sure about Luther, or the setlists, but the the shows I just grabbed sound pretty together. I'd like to see them again someday - I saw them once, October 14th, 1990, they were opening for Robert Plant.
  15. In the Setting The Record Straight book, Eddie Kramer says that Miles backed out on the deal as he wanted to be paid 50,000 bucks to go in the studio with Jimi, and of course, they refused to pay that.
  16. It seems like I have read that is who owned it somewhere.
  17. I don't have an original pressing - but the cd I have and posted about in this thread has a number stamped on the front sleeve.
