I've never grabbed any of them, but on another message board I am on, there is a thread about the work of Purple Chick and I have noticed that the torrents are usually put up at Demonoid.

Once again, I will recommend this book - The Complete Beatles Chronicle. You can find out all about the White Album recording sessions, and even the tracks that were left off - Not Guilty, and What's the New Mary Jane.

That song, co-written by Louis Gossett Jr., is probably a bit too militant for such things. I have always liked the spiritual power of that song.

These tracks have been around for quite a while. You can find FLAC files of this collection at various BT sites.

A lot of the reviews and talk of the album refer to the fact that some of the songs echo the music of Queen.

Best Buy is the only place you can get it - like The Eagles, and AC/DC releases at Walmart, no iTunes or whatever. I have not heard anything about their back catalog being on sale, but I bet Best Buy hopes people will buy the other GNR cds while they are buying the new one.

When people go to Best Buy to pick this cd up, they should just skip to the Q section and buy some real Queen cds.

I would like to see Mr. Axl do something more stripped down - such as Patience, which is my favorite GBR song. Do you think people will buy it because they like it, because of the hype and press surrounding it, or because they happen to be Christmas shopping at Best Buy on Sunday?

Of course, I know that album as Beatles '65 and Beatles VI.

It will be interesting to see if it tops AC/DC and/or Metallica's cd sales this past year.

Topic for another thread, but I like their work up through Alive II, and then Creatures Of The Night, and even The Elder. But you are right about the age deal. I don't see myself buying this new Guns N Roses album - not my cup of tea, as they say.

KISS RULES DUDE! I'd say Buckethead's guitar work was left on some tracks - or whoever this new guy is, did a good job of copying his work.

That's Esteban playing on the beginning of If The World.
