I was looking for No Looking Back on DVD and noticed it is out of print - except as a disc in the Edward Burns Boxset. Sort of odd - I could buy a used one for maybe 30 some dollars, or get the boxset used for about 40 some dollars. I am not all that fond of buying things used - but in this case, I may get it. I rather like those movies.

I think I like the original better - it's a bit more funky: Mystifies Me - Ron Wood - I've Got My Own Album To Do (1974).

I did not buy the GNR cd, I just listened to in online. I hope Axl makes some bread though - after all the money spent on making the album.

He always wants to talk to me on the phone now. Santa Claus gave me a nifty toy to give him for Christmas. -
I was just thinking - for a dude who has been making albums since the early 1970s, he has not officially released that many albums - if you don't count live albums, compilations, vault releases, etc: I suppose I will always prefer the following over everything else: The last one I bought was Devils and Dust - which I never listen to - as it won't play right in the computer cd player, and/or may have left a nasty on my computer. I think it is a good deal that the true Bruce fans don't have to wait years for a new album/tour now. Do you guys think he will keep this up - or take a fe

I have not listened to it in quite a while - I suppose it will be interesting to see what the new one sounds like. I am curious to see the DVD - just to see him talking about Cosmos Factory.

I am not always so sure of the words to use - but, for me it seems as if he is trying to make some mainstream rock radio records, or something like that. I recall when he went on and on in some of his blog posts about The Foo Fighters - so maybe that is what he is shooting for. I just find the music to be very one dimensional on Cardinology. He will do as he wants though - if you have been looking at his blog, you know that he already has another album ready to go. -
After watching this trailer, I am reminded somewhat of Death Wish: Gran Torino - trailer
