New Election 2008 thread
Analogman replied to Duck-Billed Catechist's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I work with a dude (who is from another country) and he has said that before. All of this stuff is touchy, I know. I think they actually have dudes from that jail picking up trash here from time to time - I pick it for free everyday. -

While we are it - it would be nice to put the brakes on jobs going to India and China - but that is another fantasy I have. -

Just a thought - it's the sort of thing I think of when I pass by this group of people every morning who are waiting for the hang-out room to open, so they can hang-out there all day. I think the city should put them to work picking up garbage and painting things. Of course, many of them don't want to work. I am around some of the projects that came out of the WPA everyday - so I see the good in it. -

I was thinking the other day - I wonder if Obama has any sort of plans to propose something like the WPA or CCC - I would like to see that happen. -

You mean people bragging that they voted for Bush - I'd say you are right. -
I copied mine to a MS Word file - just to be on the safe side.

Somewhere around here, there is a thread or a post I made about a record store that had been closed since the 70s - with photos - that was owned by some family in Ohio - some dudes talked them into selling it.

How to get rid of the awesome bar in Firefox 3 For those who do not want it. Firefox add-ons Oldbar 1.2 I have never really messed with add-ons - but, I am thinking of getting Adblock 0.5.3.043. I have used nothing but Firefox for several years now. I only use IE when I have to - which is at work or some sort of deal like that. I was happy to see that my bookmarks did not disappear this time - they have in the past - when I upgraded.

That is about the only thing I have ever bought on Ebay - record albums. I think the last one, was several years ago. Since I am trying to get all things Hendrix, I got Loose Ends and the soundtrack to A Film About Jimi Hendrix off someone there. It was sort of a whim - although, come to think of it, that is where I got Journey Through The Past and Time Fades Away, also.

That reminds me what the guy who owns Jerry's Records in Pittsburgh said to me once - that Ebay ruined record collecting, - that is, people are more likely to put things on Ebay and try to sell them for a bunch of money, instead of coming to a place like his, and selling him the records.

That's the tour where you saw them - the first show of the tour.

That album was recorded over a period of a couple weeks - a few sessions here and there, if I recall correctly. In the liner notes of the Biography box set, Dylan says that he just made up some of the words as they were recording the songs. I think he referred to them as "dummy lyrics".

That is the sort of thing I miss -

Joke - In that show, a bunch of kids look at such things - and the dad does not bust on them. That's what I was thinking of. -

Swingtown? -
That is what you will have to do - scan it - unless someone here has it and will share it with you. I doubt you will find a high resolution image file of the cover out there anywhere - but you could try Google, it no one has it here.

You must have grown up in a different 70s than I did.
