  1. The other day, I was getting into Corrina, Corrina - never gave that song much thought before.
  2. And your signature line. . .
  3. I was digging around in the Wilco section - there are several threads that lists such places - he can check that out - and I am sure others will post some places in this thread.
  4. Good point. I just know that is what people recommend. I have not bought any records for a long time - there are no more indoor flea markets, or record stores where I live. If I can't go into a store and dig around, I don't really want to mess with it.
  5. Yes, that has been mentioned in the previous threads on this topic. I'm sure they will do one at some point.
  6. It's on The Genuine Basement Tapes (Volume 3).
  7. I'm not sure he had anything to do with The Basement Tapes release - that was Robbie Robertson's deal. I have also read that he does not really have much to do with The Bootleg Series, either.
  8. Footprints of Thunder Thunder of Time James F. Favid Highlander: The Complete Watcher's Guide Maureen Russell Flashbacks Michael Lydon Morlock Night K.W. 9. I think Desire may be the one I listen to the most - at least in the last couple of years. When I was 15 or 16, it was Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde. That's the great thing about his work - there is an album there for every age. Sometimes, I just listen to the beginning of Like a Rolling Stone - because it so moving. I mean - you hear that snare crack, and you always know what song it is. I have lived Dylan songs in real life - which is not always a good thing.
  10. I forgot about this place: The Unofficial Bob Dylan Free Library Information Desk
  11. Speaking of Dylan cds - anyone ever bought all of those Hybrid-SACD re-masters? I never did - as I own almost all the pre-re-master Dylan cds and I figured it would too costly to replace them all - I bought almost all of them new for $8.99 each.
  12. I don't think I could agree with that - although, I only own Shot of Love. That starts the period of Dylan albums I don't own (yet). I am not to eager to hear him sings songs about JC - and the bullshit he went on about during that time.
  13. Maybe if you email Laurie, she can help you out.
  14. I have seen it on Youtube - along with out takes. I think I have also seen a cleaned up version up at Tape City.
  15. There are some links in this thread you may want to check first. There are also some used copies at Amazon.com If you don't get what you need from one of the places above - I will copy it for you.
  16. Bataclan Club, Paris 29th June 1973 (broadcast on Pop-Deux, French TV on 28th July 1973) Robin Trower, guitar; James Dewar, bass & vocals; Reg Isidore, drums. Part 1 of 3 Part 2 of 3 Part 3 of 3
  17. I see your point - but do we need a Dylan thread for every Dylan thought that someone decides to post. You know, I like reading this stuff - and if it is in one place, we can all read it and comment - instead of having a bunch of separate little side trips. Everyone can do what they want - but I shall continue to try and keep my thoughts on a particular artist or topic in one place. Plus - as LB said - people love to answer questions here, but answering them over and over again can get tedious. I am keen to share whatever knowledge I have - even over and over again - but in two places
  18. I am not in any clique - let's get that straight. I wasn't actually busting on the dude - as I have already said at least twice. Just like there are certain threads that some people post all their discussion in - with regards to said topic, there should be one Dylan thread - and then we can all just post all of our Dylan posts in that. That is what I think anyway. It works quite well for GD, Phish, and Ryan Adams discussion anyhow.
  19. Well - I am not all that fond of that song either. It is about his fights with Suze and her sister Carla Rotolo. But still, there are some great songs on that album.
