Would everyone want Wilco to release more live albums?
Analogman replied to justincolts's topic in Just A Fan
I guess what you have is live albums that bands fix-up before they are released - i.e. overdub guitar parts, sbd tapes that are mastered somewhat and then released to fans, sbd tapes without any work done to them, and then, finally, AUD tapes. Although - with the modern access to equipment - it seems there is a movement to tinker with tapes before they are put out there by tapers - at least, I have seen this with old LZ shows or whatever. -
I heard it is going to be The PovertyNeck Hillbillies.

For that song - and maybe some of the early ones - I would think that was it though.

I thought maybe you did.

I picked up the book for 5 bucks at Barnes and Noble - those guys shot a lot of film, that's for sure.

That's because Ringo left the band for a period of time when they were working on the album. The song is a tribute to the Beach Boys song Surfin' USA.

You don't have to tell me that - here, we can be fired for swearing. It creates a hostile work environment.

Well, he is no Doug Clifford. There are some rather nifty drum movements to be found on this album.

That's the only way I like to watch things - really.

I think they run them on the NBC website - and as you know, TV Links or I am sure they will be up on some BT site by tommorrow.

I'd say that, The Rainow Concert, and The Layla album. and uh, Blind Faith.

That is a good point. Free Erl.

Oh - was there about it already? Sorry, I did not catch it.

Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad? as found on this album - is pretty awesome.
-
He should give some cash to these guys.

If you read the book about the making of Some Kind of Monster, you look at the film in a different light. Personally, I think it is about dudes trying to change - and their struggles as they adjust to those changes. Or as Neil once wrote

Tell him about it - I am sure Wilco management will take it from there. -
We'll see. It comes out soon. The great thing about the re-release of The Kids Are Alright - besides the fact they cleaned up everything - what you had on VHS was cut - is the Jeff Stein interviews. That guy is a freak and a half. The Maximum R&B Who film is pretty cool also.
