  1. I saw it at the theater - twice in the same week. I then bought the VHS tape for 10 dollars! at a department chain that no longer exists. I think it's great. I don't care for the gospel part though.
  2. It's online now - even. I recall scanning that, and then Wendy (I wouldn't hurt you like that) typing it.
  3. I hope to go see the locations of the Boston Tea Party rocka rolla place someday.
  4. I call that "the John and Paul model" of rock book writing. The dude should dig up that Harp article where Jay talks about the book.
  5. EPK That dude is crap on drums - he use to play for John Mellancamp. Since John is making a CCR sounding album, he should cut the shit, make peace with Stu and Cosmo and get on the road.
  6. Rattle and Hum Hail Hail Rock and Roll I rather like those two - especially R&H - I think it may be my favorite cinematography of all the rock docs I have seen.
  7. You can find these on various BT sites.
  8. A thread about the band from Sept 18 2007.
  9. I think it may have been on TV Land a few years ago. There seems to be no more old shows on TV, now all you see is new shows being re-ran on TBS or whatever.
  10. Yes, but it is better than someone paying a bunch of money to someone selling live shows on Ebay or whatever.
  11. The deal with all that coffee is that it may be months old. After drinking coffee from freshly roasted beans, that is all I will drink - if I can get it.
  12. Just like Walmart, that may be all there is in some places. I just don't care for their coffee.
  13. I usually turn on the TV at 8 pm and watch it, or certain shows anyhow, about every night.
  14. I guess the deal is each one represents a section of the country - but I am sure people feel left out.
  15. I'd say they have films and documentaries mixed together there - I would not place Purple Rain, for instance, in the same category as Woodstock.
  16. I often say "Han a Han a Hanlet" - and no-one knows what I am talking about.
  17. Live dvds don't do much for me - unless we are talking about something like Rattle & Hum - or the Wilco movie. The other method, is to do as the Allman Brothers and The Black Crowes - receive a disc in the mail or buy them at select outlets. I recall buying some of the first run of Pearl Jam live show cds that way.
  18. That's what I did with them and the 2 dollar bills back then - used them to buy baseball cards and Hot Rod magazines.
