I also have this: If any of you happen to pick up Wow/Grape Jam - check out the song Never to see where LZ got Since I've Been Loving You from.

I have actually never heard this album - only the tracks on the CSNY boxset. I googled: Tamalpais pronunciation
-
Dude - you could have googled that - instead of starting a thread. right here

Are The Beatles your favorite band ever?
Analogman replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Someone Else's Song
I have not bought them myself. But - they are in the configuration I grew up with. Up until Sgt. Pepper that is. I figure I will buy them eventually - as I don't really listen to anything but Wav files - unless I can only get something in FLAC or Mp3 or Shn. -
R&C is actually on YouTube - broken into many parts.

Capitol wants you to buy the 60 dollar boxsets. -
Leave you Republican friends at home. You could end up being his 9th wife!

I don't think most BT sites would go for online streamed shows being converted to FLAC and then torrented. (if that is what you mean) This place does not have a policy that I know of - outside of not allowing commercially available tracks to be posted in threads for people to grab. I don't know exactly - but I think a streamed show transcoded to Mp3 would sound like shit. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

If I was a singer/guitar player guy, I would play that song Big.

What I have is the first/Wow/Grape Jam cds on the San Francisco Sound label - which were mastered off the record album releases - or so I have heard. I also have the first album on the Edsel label, the two cd anthology Vintage, and a greatest hits on vinyl from the 70s, as well as, the one that came out in May on cd. I think they are all good - the first two better than the rest - but still, I am going to get them all. I have long wanted Truely Fine Citizen and Moby Grape'69.That is actually not all of them - as they have made a few more albums throughout the years. They did play at some Summ

I didn't even know about this - until the guy at the place where I get cds told me about it a little while ago.
-
I know there is a lot of hype about them - but there are some really good songs to be found on all of the albums they made.

I don't think I have ever heard it. I never had any T Rex on cd until Rhino redid Electric Warrior.
-
Here is a new one of those - UK released.
-
The pre-Electric Warrior stuff is available in the Uk - recently re-done again. (edit - I think these are just the 2004 releases, released again - it's all a bit confusing) The Electric Warrior and after stuff is available in the US - re-released by Rhino in recent years - along with some best of/singles/demo compilations. Tyrannosaurus Rex was Steve Peregrin Took and Marc - and then Marc and Micky Finn. T Rex was Marc, Mickey, Bill, Steve, and others as time went on. Here is what Rhino has.
-
I think it is the same as the 2002 Edsel and Demon releases - as they are noted on the back of the cd sleeve. As far as I know, this is the one to get - until it get re-mastered and released again.
-
Yes - but Rhino did not get to work on in like they did Electric Warrior. I don't care for the sound of it - too bright.

With his fool's gold stacked up all around him From a killing in the market on the war The children left King Midas there, as they found him In his counting house where nothing counts but more With his travel logs of 'maybe next year' places As a trade-in for a name upon the door And he pays for every year he cannot buy back with his tears As he finds out there's been no one keeping score And he thought he heard the echo of a penny whistle band And the laughter from a distant caravan And the brightly painted line of circus wagons in the sand Fading through the door into summer
