On a related note, The Allman Brothers do not allow online trading - but allow taping/trading through the mail. That is why you don't find any AUD tapes of the band on BT sites.

I guess what you have is live albums that bands fix-up before they are released - i.e. overdub guitar parts, sbd tapes that are mastered somewhat and then released to fans, sbd tapes without any work done to them, and then, finally, AUD tapes. Although - with the modern access to equipment - it seems there is a movement to tinker with tapes before they are put out there by tapers - at least, I have seen this with old LZ shows or whatever.
