  1. Don Dokken worked on that album - as Klaus had some throat troubles at the time.
  2. Yes, after we are finished. According to the Sabbath books I have read - they did look to them for inspiration and other bands that I can't think of at the moment. But - I think they really invented their own sound - at least for those fist 4 albums.
  3. Hey - the next time I come up we can go to a cemetery and sacrifice goats and stuff. Good times.
  4. I don't think a product can be featured on a show without compensation taking place in one form or another. For instance, ever notice that the names of amps and guitars and whatnot are sometimes taped over when you see bands on TV shows.
  5. Five threads full of recommendations: one two three four five
  6. And now you are making me and Satan mad. I read some metal book a while back - I forget the title - but the dude had metal broken down into many many categories. It was sort of interesting and endlessly debatable.
  7. Just joking you. I don't consider Black Sabbath metal - although - they became that starting with the Heaven and Hell album I suppose.
  8. Just you and all the other poseurs that year. Death to fake metal, mate.
  9. It's probably like The Scorpions - what they started out as - is not what they are today. People laugh at me when I say how much I like The Scorpions - but I am refering to the In Trance time period - and certainly not the Rock You Like A Hurricane period.
  10. I've never heard - nor would I want to. I think there is something wrong with her neck - as she always seems to have her head tilted in a come hither position.
  11. I don't know - two different schools - maybe? I never really listened to much motorhead - but I have always seen them as coming more from a boogie/hard rock background. Plus - Lemmy goes back to the 1960s - he even worked as a roadie for Hendrix for a spell. I think Little Richard is who he looks to as his hero.
  12. I think that was the last one I bought - then I stopped listening to metal until a couple of years ago. I have that Garage Inc. deal on cd - which is the only Metallica I have ever owned on cd.
  13. Another reason it won't be up at that one place - but I would almost bet people will try. Why? Because you would get big points off of seeding those files.
  14. I like Ok Computer and a few other songs - such as How To Disapear Completely. Now that I see they are simply giving away Mp3s - I don't see what the big deal is.
  15. Yes - too bad about the bass thing.
  16. I wonder how many times it will be posted and removed from Oink in the next few days. I think I will just wait for the cd release.
  17. At the end of the day, I prefer british metal - which is who Meticallica were mostly influenced by.
  18. I have that and the $70.98 deal on vinyl. I often think they must have made some money for Megaforce, not unlike Nirvana did for Sub Pop. This was the first one I bought. Actually - mabye not it was Ride the Lightning or Kill 'Em All.
