I think the dude is fouled up in some way - and yes, this is a WILCO board - so from time to time I may get upset at those who talk about Jeff in a music magazine interview that reads like a National Inquirer type deal. To make you even more upset - I think Jay pushed this new SV album so that he could get it out before the next Wilco album. I met the dude - and he acted like fucking Howard Hughes - so I am just not that fond of him these days. I am not a FANBOY of anyone - living. I have met Jeff many times - he actually knows me by name.

I like it because they have articles longer than one page - which seems to be a rarity these days.

I started buying ND around issue number 3 - I think. Then, the place closed were I bought it - sometime in 2001 - I sent in a subscription and never heard back from them. I had given up on music magazines a couple months ago - Harp being the last one I was buying. So I am glad to have something to read once again.

I disagree - or rather, there are many KISS songs I like. I tend to think in terms of albums anyhow -

I bought an issue of ND this morning - first time I have been able to grab it at a store for years. There is an ad for this album on the back cover - I wonder why she went with an old Annie Leibowitz photo? I think that photo was taken several years ago.

I think the Blondie induction almost did - when Frank and the other dude were begging Debbie to let them play.

So far, I have just got the first one. A lot of work went into those books I would say. Funny how the one I am reading is already dated though - all the references to cassette trading. edit - the other two are in - so I know what I will be reading tonight I hope to own them at some point.

I like Kiss, Dressed To Kill, Hotter Than Hell, KISS ALIVE 1, and maybe Rock and Roll Over. After that, I guess it would be Creatures of The Night and Music From The Elder. I am partial to the riff in Parasite. I see your point. You probably know this - but he is a cleaned up christian dude now.

For me, it's really the other way around. I think the image overcame the music - I mean, that's cool what they did - but for me - there has to be some good songs in there somewhere. Same with Alice Cooper - Killers is pretty cool, Flush the Fashion, is not.

That is good to know - I am still learning about dvd stuff.

If you compare those albums to what came after - those albums are really good.
