  1. When I first saw that title way back when - I thought they were covering a Van Halen song.
  2. Speaking of Phil - I wonder if he ever does any of the songs from his solo album (There and Back Again - 2002)? I recall seeing several shelves of those cds in the place where I use to buy new cds around that time.
  3. I forgot about that. That is right - he allows his shows to be put on that site.
  4. I never really collected any of his shows. I think the only show I have is the one I saw back in 2007. What I mostly have is all that studio stuff that was up for download a few years ago.
  5. That makes me think of those Under Review dvds - where it's just a bunch of critics sitting around in bars talking about the band. Rubbish.
  6. I never cared for them all that much. Although I did have the album All Shook Up back in the day. It's nice to see Chicago, Deep Purple, The Cars, Yes, and Steve Miller on that list.
  7. That is one of the nice things about these Dylan vault releases. They don't cheap out.
  8. I don't do streaming. Anyhow - I think the 2 disc is enough.
  9. I respect your passion. But I just can't see spending that much money on a bunch of cds. I'll go for the 2 disc version.
  10. Easy Ed's view of the 600 dollar edition: Sony Music Pushes Bob Dylan Over The Edge
  11. I recall looking at the site. I don't think I ever got anything from there though.
  12. There use to be a Dylan library - where you would send them blanks and they would make copies. I think that may have been video only though. I see Dylan shows on Dime a Dozen from time to time. There may be a Dylan BT site out there. I don't know. I don't think I have ever collected Dylan live shows. The search for Wilco and related bands has pretty much taken up all my collecting time over the last decade or so.
  13. I saw their set at Lockn' (by way of Youtube). I didn't think it was that great. I don't know who those two guitar players were - but do they need 3 people playing guitar? I guess we will see how it goes when the new album comes out.
  14. I don't care for that stuff. Infidels is one of my favorite Dylan albums. I'm not crazy about the sound of it though.
  15. Maybe they will release Eat The Document and out-takes from the Dharma and Greg episode Play Lady Play (1999).
  16. Yet another example of music made around the time I was born (days before and days after) that end being the sort of music I am into. I think some of that stuff is on the first Bootleg (Vol.1-3) boxset. Visions of Johanna, Fourth Time Around, and Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands are three of my favorite Bob songs. I'd like to hear acoustic versions of those songs.
  17. I bet. I don't need that. Two discs is good enough.
