The last few albums are not like the early stuff. Also - Max Johnston played with them for a while (Springtime).

I am surprised I could not find the old Freakwater thread. It must have disappeared.
-
They have a new album coming out this winter. They are now on the Bloodshot label. If you have never listened to Freakwater - listen to It Feels Like The Third Time first. Because that is the first one I ever bought. And I'm fantastic.

I know someone who won some of those free tickets to one of the upcoming shows today. He was already planning on going to one show - so now he can go to two shows. He's a fan of John Mayer and The GD so I am glad to see he got the tickets.
-
I can understand that. Thanks for the answer.

Has anyone heard the re-master yet? I am curious about the sound before I go buy it. I say that as I recently got burned on the Old 97s Too Far To Care re-master. That thing sounds like someone went through the brick wall with the treble turned up almost all the way.

I was thinking maybe there was a plain dvd release - maybe there isn't. I don't own a Blu-ray player or surround sound system.
-
I don't know if I will buy this or not: The Beatles - 1 (CD/Blu-ray audio/video) - November 6th 2015

I read some review a while back where the reviewer said something along the lines of "I hope they don't end up together" or something like that. I figured right away they had not read the books.
-
One crime and some sort of running story throughout the books. I have had to read the books out of order - due to availability.
-
I am now reading all the books. Or at least the ones I can get on my Nook from the local digital library. She's like that in the books also.
-
That's right. You can now.
-
That first album is great though. I had it on 8-track. They certainly had their own sound.
-
Although I respect Judas Priest (although now they are sort of a joke) I really only care for the first two albums. And maybe British Steel.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band

The Ties That Bind: The River Collection (December 4th 2015): -
There are several bands that influenced Iron Maiden that need to be in there before them - such as Judas Priest.
-
Fare Thee Well Shows information: I didn't know they were doing this in a limited edition deal. I wonder if that is how they are going to do most of the commercial releases now.
-
The sound of those last two albums. Of course - I'm not much of a GD album guy outside of American Beauty/Workingman's Dead.
-
I don't really care for any of those songs - but West L.A. Fadeaway is alright. The sound is so plastic though.
-
When I first saw that title way back when - I thought they were covering a Van Halen song.
-
That would be a riot.
-
Speaking of Phil - I wonder if he ever does any of the songs from his solo album (There and Back Again - 2002)? I recall seeing several shelves of those cds in the place where I use to buy new cds around that time.
-
I forgot about that. That is right - he allows his shows to be put on that site.
-
I never really collected any of his shows. I think the only show I have is the one I saw back in 2007. What I mostly have is all that studio stuff that was up for download a few years ago.

That makes me think of those Under Review dvds - where it's just a bunch of critics sitting around in bars talking about the band. Rubbish.
