  3. Here's the deal with me - since I prefer "60s" music - I hold everyone up to Beck/Bonham/McCartney/Entwistle/Howe/Buford, etc. -
  4. If you are willing to put on some KISS make-up and can run fast, I think I can make that dream come true.
  5. I have noticed that TV shows that have dudes from the big screen on them do not last long.
  6. Yea - I'd like to have it. It would probably only take the dudes at the cd place a month to get it.
  7. I have never known what criteria they use to decide - must be something like this I suppose: number of records sold worldwide? originality? popularity? influence? number if years together? I think those dudes are not very good musicians. At least KISS had a gimmick.
  8. They should be too. If you look around, there are various lists out there of bands that are not in there - but are eligible. I mean VH - what's so great about them - outside of EVH guitar playing?
  9. They are a rock band, yes? They had something mostly original going on there for a while.
  10. There are lots of bands that could be in there but are not. KISS for one.
  11. I like KISS, Dressed To Kill, Hotter Than Hell, and Alive I the best.
  12. I should say that parts of this are not easy to watch.
  13. Thanks to Mr. Muller - I saw this a few months ago - or a version of it. I will be buying this soon.
  14. Isn't their story like that Ray what's his name guy - in that they never listened to music growing up? - their dad was some sort of con artist/preacher dude?
  15. Well, you should give them a spin. Those first four albums are great.
  16. Rupert Williams and James Mackie have made this film as a labour of love over about five years. Although we were working in one of the technical departments of the BBC, we were not recognized as program makers, so we had to work as independents in our own time. Eventually we managed to convince the BBC Music Department that we were doing something very special, and we completed the film as a co-production with the BBC. The film is an affectionate portrait of Ronnie, which spares no blushes about his faults. The core of the film is our interviews with Ronnie's friends, family and colleagues,
  17. It was suppose to come out last Christmas - but never did - from what I have read.
  18. I'd be happy just to get the dvd itself.
