  1. Sunday Sound is pretty alright song - I wonder if he ever does Kids That Ain't Got None/Silver Car? I like those two songs.
  2. I think Dan plays on that album. I guess some of those songs are on the boxset.
  3. For a really wild time they could have asked Sebastian Bach to induct the band.
  4. Thanks for posting that. I have to wonder why they didn't ask Scott Ian to induct the band.
  5. I still think the cds in the first WB boxset are some of the best sounding cds/re-issues I have ever heard.
  6. It's odd to see him talking that way. I think it is mainly due to his book coming out that he was out there spouting stuff. At least it is nice to see - like Rush - another band of the people getting in there.
  7. I've read the other reason cds are still made is due to the people who are into modern country music. Apparently they make up a good deal of the cd buying public.
  8. Win, Lose or Draw, the boxset (Dreams), and Live at Ludlow Garage were the last ones I bought until Seven Turns. I may get those other ones some day.
  9. I didn't think the book that was great. I think you can tell - if you see the photos of how scrawny they were at one point. I thought it was funny that the writer made fun of the Wipe the Windows, Check the Oil, Dollar Gas title - just as Scott Freeman did in the Midnight Riders book. It is actually derived from the Check Berry song Too Much Monkey Business. I've never heard that album, Enlightened Rogues, Reach For The Sky, or Brothers of The Road.
  10. It stills seems odd to me. One week various band members are saying they are done - and then a while later someone in the band says they are going onward. I wonder if it will be whoever plays guitar in Gregg's band.
  11. That's probably why they still cds - the old people GD fans.
  12. Yea - if you can unblock the BBC player. Try Daily Motion. (Which is how I found the new Jonathan Creek episodes.)
  13. I recall reading somewhere that they do a thousand more each time - or something like that. You have to say that in a world where cds are on the way out - it is amazing they are even releasing physical product.
  14. I guess this is the story now: (by way of Jambands.com) (Just the other day I saw an interview with Warren where he said the band was going to cease.)
  15. Everyone has a list - Iron Maiden should certainly be in there. But - there are several hard rock/metal bands that should be in there before them.
  16. I think Paul was saying they don't have a standard - they pick and choose who gets in there. He used Robert Trujillo as an example.
  17. Maybe he will do Synchronicity by The Police next.
  18. Rock Hall Fame Ceremony Wraps Nirvana Joined by Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, Lorde. . . I have no idea who half those women are - and I wonder why they chose women to sing Nirvana songs.
  19. He was on the Parks and Recreation episode tonight.
  20. I think I knew they sold the rights. I didn't know about the return though. I just saw a photo of the original four at the podium - so I guess they were able to get along enough to stand together.
  21. I noticed Paul is doing a lot of press these days. I'd say it mostly has to do with his book. I was watching a video today where he was talking about being pissed of due to the fact they would not let all the KISS guys be inducted. (OR the ones they wanted anyhow) And he talked about how other bands got all their past and present members inducted. I can see where he has a point there. Eric Carr was a great drummer. Of course he is dead - but it would probably be nice for his family if he got in there. I don't know that I am much a fan of the Bruce Kulick era, but he should be in there too.
  22. I am guessing that was out of an interview with Butch.
  23. I am know I am in the minority here - but I don't care for his show or The Daily Show. They must have offered him a lot of money.
