  1. Rich is doing all sorts of things I would never have imagined him doing. Hell - lately he has been doing Q&A sessions on his Facebook page.
  2. Will Ferrell and Chad Smith Drum-Off
  3. I had that book once upon a time. I sent it to someone on here and never got it back. It's a great book. Yes
  4. That's a Mike Millard tape. I pretty sure I have that boot - Listen To This Eddie.
  5. I could swear I have seen the whole episode of that on Youtube several years ago.
  6. If you happen to have some original vinyl pressing and later cd copies - take a look at some of the credits that did change. Also - the same with some Rolling Stones records. There is also a song by Moby Grape called Never that was most likely the "inspiration" for Since I've Been Loving You.
  7. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Announce Album, Tour
  8. R.E.M. Has a 'Lot of Stuff in the Vaults'
  9. Yea, that's nothing new. Willie Dixon waited until 1985 to sue them over Whole Lotta Love (You Need Love.) I think Jake Holmes also tried to sue them over Dazed and Confused a while back.
  10. Interview with Mac about his new album:
  11. I don't think I recall hearing you mention the 77 tour before. I think if I ever had the chance - I would have wanted to see them in 1971/1972/1973.
  12. There are some rather sad photos out there where he looks like he just got out of a POW camp.
  13. I don't think I ever actually listened to that album they made back in the day. I do recall having the first Firm album on cassette. The last LZ member solo album I recall hearing was Manic Nirvana. I actually saw Robert on that tour and have a signed cd of the album.
  14. I think Jimmy will have a bunch of young guys with him - or if not - it will be someone old such as Paul Rodgers. Or maybe he will just do a Jeff Beck and mainly play instrumental music. I wonder if he will have Jason playing drums on whatever he is going to do.
  15. Just think - back in the day you learned about that by word of mouth. And now all you have to do is go to Youtube and find it.
  16. Yes even replaced Jon's replacement. I guess there was a point when Jimmy/John Paul/Jason were rehearing with a new singer - but it fell apart.
  17. Don't forget what happens when you play Stairway To Heaven backwards. . .
  18. Far out, man. Well, there was certainly some evil in Led Zeppelin's music. That's part of what makes it so good.
  19. Under the ‘Macroscope’ with Nels Cline (Wilco, MMW, Grateful Dead)
  20. I still think it is fascinating to see him out in public - smiling, playing at the Olympics, working with charities, taking photos, etc. When I was a young hair farmer, I was taught that Jimmy was almost the devil himself. Plus - he gave surly interviews and always seemed to look a bit pissed off in photos. He seemed to be (the whole bad actually) someone you would not want to mess with.
