I wonder if Garth will get any money from this?
-
I still think it was him. LOL

When I was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame many years ago they had the reel to reel tape recorder that Garth used to make the tapes.

A few quotes I find interesting: (I believe I did not know about the overdubs until a few years ago.) (What I have posted below comes from Wikipedia - and are from various Dylan books.)

That's good to hear. I figured it would happen someday. Amazon already has a page for it: The Complete Basement Tapes: The Bootleg Series Volume 11 (149 dollars)

Official Doctor Who discussion thread
Analogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
I just watched it a little while ago. I missed the premiere last night. I'd say the pace has been slowed down. Not like the old days, but certainly different than recent years. I think Cherie Priest should write some episodes. -

It's great we can see it on that day. -
Two more Hendrix re-releases: Cry of Love and Rainbow Bridge (cd and vinyl) Oddly enough - a friend of mine was just asking me about those albums last night. I have original pressings I bought many years ago. I wonder if we they are going to do a Rainbow Bridge dvd release at some point.

In FLAC. That's interesting.

Since it is Woodstock weekend - don't forget the awesome show they put on there. Although - I guess Pete and Roger have always said it was not so great.

I think there is a place mentioned a page or two back in this thread. Wilco Me- You should check out the Whiskeytown stuff.

I think she is back on TV - or was not too long ago. I don't think I am going to buy this new Ryan Adams album.

Video for the song Gimme Something Good: Gimme Something Good I wonder how he got Elvira to be in his video.

I was thinking that might be a good idea. For those who have never seen this: Jerry Garcia - The Movie That Changed My Life (I saw this back in the day when it first aired. Of course, this is when AMC actually showed old moves. Not shows about zombies or whatever they do now.)

I am curious as to how the other versions of Hot 'Lanta sound. I have always rather liked that tune.

That's the story I have always read.

That's right. It was in Georgia. The Fillmore Concerts cover (1992 - which is what I have) features a different photo and is in color - not black and white.

Duane is holding a bag of cocaine in his hands. That is why they are laughing.

That photo always cracks me up - since I heard the story behind it. How is the booklet?

For most of the past summer I have watched Last Tango in Halifax on PBS. I can't figure out if it is a dark comedy or some sort of British soap opera. I am not even sure I was all that much into the show. I also happened to catch the preview for The Roosevelts: An Intimate History. Apparently, Ken Burns also has the following in the works: a film about Vietnam, a film about Jackie Robinson, and a film about country music. Also - just began watching Torchwood. I didn't know the show was so - how shall we say - adult themed.

I can see them doing something like that someday. I saved playing the new LZ III until today for some odd reason. It sounds really clear. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant: How We Made Led Zeppelin III (Probably nothing new - if you know all the stories by now)
